New video of the EF2 tornado as it hit a neighborhood in Mineral Wells, TX Sound up for this one…

We returned to the U.S.-Mexico border for a reality check on how much the situation there has changed under President Trump’s crackdown. Unlike 2023, we did not see mass illegal crossings or scenes of desperation. Instead, we saw a quiet border. Our dispatch for @CBSMornings.

Illegal crossings along the Del Rio sector of the U.S.-Mexico border near Eagle Pass, Texas peaked at 4,000 less than three years ago, in December 2023. So far this year, agents are seeing just 32 illegal crossings a day, the top Border Patrol official in the region told @camiloreports.

Chaos at airports nationwide. Reporting w/ @NicoleSganga in Houston and here in Atlanta as frustrated passengers try to get to their destinations. @CBSNews

Today’s Giants season finale is not about football. It is about appreciating John Mara the man, the co-owner and team president, whose grueling cancer battle is a brutal reminder of this business’s often-overlooked human side. Mara is the heartbeat of this franchise. His passion for the team defines it. And he is ailing. Reserve this one afternoon for a tip of the cap to the man who cares as deeply about the Giants as any of us nydailynews.com/2026/01/04/gia…

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on what happens next in Venezuela after the capture of Nicolás Maduro.

President Trump shared a photo on Truth Social of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro aboard the USS Iwo Jima. Maduro appears to be blindfolded and handcuffed. Maduro and his wife were captured overnight as part of a U.S. military operation. He's expected to be arraigned in New York Federal court in the Southern District of New York next week.

Great message. Thank you @andersoncooper.
