Watch: This is the result of the Trump Admin giving a blank check to the Netanyahu govt’s ongoing settlement expansion and its complicity with settler violence against Palestinians.   We cannot look away.
Christiane Amanpour@amanpour

As Israeli settlers continue to attack Palestinians across the occupied West Bank. CNN Producer Abeer Salman reports from Umm al-Khair, where razor wire has blocked Palestinian children from going to school.

On top of leaving OPEC, the UAE has also left the (far less important) OAPEC, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries. The rift between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh/Kuwait City seems to be growing.

The U.S. government is shutting down 57 federal research stations in a massive funding cut to the Forest Service. These stations help detect wildfire conditions and play an essential role in predicting where fires will happen.

President Trump continues his years-long pattern of denying he said things he said *on camera,* sometimes just days prior – this time claiming Saturday he hadn’t said something about Iran he said in a public speech Friday night: cnn.com/2026/05/03/pol…

Yes. He’s the most famous entertainer in history. All of the entertainers you mentioned can sit courtside at a NBA game. Michael Jackson could not. @MagicJohnson told the story of how he invited MJ to a Lakers game and it created so much chaos, they had to stop the game. MJ had to leave because fans were leaving their seats to try to get to him. None of the people you mentioned have that level of fame where they can’t attend public events.
Anna 🤍🥀@annhybri

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

FYI: Since the chronicle won’t tell you, this guy was BFF with Peter Theil, David Sacks and Elon Musk and should be nowhere near a position of power.

Why is the President of the United States shilling so hard for cryptocurrency? Because the entire industry is a Ponzi scheme — and he's the conman-in-chief.

Project 2025 called for gutting the EPA's scientific research office. In under a year, the Trump Administration has done exactly that, taking a division of more than 1,500 scientists down to 124, reassigning doctors and epidemiologists to finance offices and hazardous waste permitting desks that have nothing to do with their expertise.       For more than 50 years, that office produced the independent science behind every major clean air and clean water protection this country has. It existed specifically to be free from political interference.       The scientists who remain answer to Trump appointees, and their work must now conform to the Administration's agenda.        No other institution in the United States can replace what's being lost. Once that expertise is dismantled, it doesn’t come back in a year or a decade. It’s a generation of progress erased, deliberately, methodically, and exactly according to plan.   nytimes.com/2026/04/27/cli…
