After watching the regionals this year and seeing these power 4 teams struggle with bullpen management and maintaining a lead, it makes me appreciate our pitching staff last year so much more. Shane Harris, Max Hansmann, and Jakob Meyer were a bunch of dawgs out there #GUAC

Thank you, Aces. Not only did you make a historic deep NCAA tourney run, you had the number one team in college baseball on their heels. You fiercely competed day after day and left everything on the field. More importantly, you brought so many people together. You had local businesses opening their doors on their day off to give community members a place to watch the games with neighbors. Businesses were offering deals in your honor. Purple was spotted in several locations all across the city. Local kids have been idolizing their hometown sports heroes and thus dreaming themselves of being in your cleats one day. You created such a positive buzz in the community that we hadn’t seen in years. You have made us proud. What a season. Thank you. #ewatch

#1 Tennessee defeats Evansville, 12-1, to win the Knoxville Super Regional. UE's incredible season ends with a 39-26 record, the MVC Tournament title, the Greenville Regional title, and a host of team offensive records. An amazing group that changed a program. #ForTheAces #GUAC

Obviously not the outcome we wanted. Sucks it ends this way but we have set ourselves up better for the future than ever before. This has to be, hands down, the greatest seniors we’ve ever had. Every single one of them was huge and left the program better than they found it #GUAC
