Slav Grebe, Marsh Harriers, 2 Kingfishers having a chase, Barn Owl. Fieldfares & PF Geese whilst waiting for the bus to Goole @Blacktoft_Sands
Good to meet @suzi11a
Ridiculous trip today, 2 buses, 2 trains & a top taxi driven by a woman with blue hair & matching suit! Loved it 💙
All boxed up ready to go home.
Like all good things, #Migweek has now come to an end.
A huge thank you to all our partners, our ringing teams, walk leaders, vismiggers, and behind the scenes volunteers who we simply couldn’t do this without.
Same time next year?
Thanks to all for viewing my previous video of the Great Grey Shrike - I've had a couple of requests to post this video too - happy to share #Migweek@FlamboroughBird
Amazing few days at #Migweek. 5 lifers inc Radde's Warbler, Pallas's Warbler, Red-flanked Bluetail, Great Grey Shrike & Little Bunting. Thanks to all involved in organising @FlamboroughBird@Bempton_Cliffs
Great Grey Shrike
Today's unexpected but most welcome bird near the end of today's ringing session at South Landing. Myself and @Jo_birding said a few choice words when we saw it in the net! The last
GG Shrike to be ringed here at @FlamboroughBird was in 2002!! @FlamboroBirder
Scotland AND Wales have banned snare traps but they still remain LEGAL in England.
RT and LIKE this post if you agree they should be banned across the whole of the UK!

Good couple of hours at Alkborough Flats today to see the Pectoral Sandpiper. Other highlights - Curlew Sandpiper, female Hen Harrier and watching and listening to the lovely sound of the Pink-footed Geese coming into land on Trent Falls @Lincsbirding
