US–Iran tensions should ease in the next 1-2 weeks. Why ? Because of U.S treasury yields. US 10Y yield is currently around 4.39%. If it moves to 4.5% or higher, it creates real pressure on the system. We already saw this in April 2025. When yields pushed toward 4.5%, Trump reacted quickly with tariff pauses, negotiations, and policy changes. Higher yields increase borrowing costs and tighten financial conditions. That forces a response. If yields spike again, chances are we see a similar reaction. That’s when markets usually start stabilizing before any official news comes out.
