Amazing keynote @langaracollege today. @JackieSeidel1 gave us much to think about. A thoughtful, well-informed and approachable speaker. Much to process. And bees! Such beautiful bees and delicate flowers. Thank you to her and the mini-conference committee for bringing her.

Lawful critique alert:
The Proctorio vulnerability revealed today is shocking.
The Proctorio Google Chrome extension requires a permission called "READ AND CHANGE ALL YOUR DATA ON THE WEBSITES YOU VISIT" and their explanation is inexplicable. It's now a proven security risk.

I wish I could be more specific, or share a news link explaining the (now-patched) vulnerability, but I fear Proctorio will claim that I have shared "confidential" information. They haven't even told their customers.
I have been living under Proctorio's injunction for 468 days.

Took a day to cool off, but fury is not receding. I don't know what upsets me most. The obvious tactic of Proctorio using its deep pockets to make an individual's legal defence more painful and expensive? Evidence that they are keeping dossiers (maybe an enemies list) on critics?
