entire groups don't know their native languages because of the British. every time a country is celebrating independence it's because of a European country. school curriculums are all just variations of GCSE. people dont have to imagine 50k English men because we're living it

If 50,000 English people all moved to China, creating a 95% ethnic English town and set up their own Christian schools and English only emergency services… I would not consider them to be integrated into Chinese culture.

@sexrealitybites It's a secular ideology not so different from Marxism. Marxism also has zealous "religious-like" characteristics. Both can be said to be secular religions. All extreme ideologies tend to be.

I see this as a framework that functions more like an ideological belief system. Not just because many of its core claims aren’t grounded in clear, testable evidence, but because it also functions socially in ways belief systems often do. It brings people together into a shared community, provides a lens for interpreting personal experiences, especially distress— helps many who are lost souls and uses distinct symbols and language. I also see elements that resemble rituals like hanging the flag on your wall, name changes, pronoun declarations, and social or medical transitions being treated as deeply significant milestones. Sacred days, like trans day of visibility etc and day of remembrance…In some cases, especially with parents of trans-identified children, moms of their sons especially see them as sacred or more special and mystical than average males. So while it may not be religious in a literal sense, I think it operates like one. Especially since people like me are considered blasphemous and heretics and often treated as such.

Gender identity ideology is NOT secular because it isn’t based on shared, observable reality. It asks others to accept internal feelings and identity as stable truth even though it can’t be measured or verified. That makes it a personal belief system, not a neutral fact, and in a secular space it should remain personal, not taught as fact or socially enforced. Either through policy or by ostracism, or by labeling those who choose not to participate as “hateful” or “bigoted.” Gender identity is exclusive not inclusive. It divides people more than it brings them together, especially in schools and public settings where people with different beliefs need to cooperate and focus on the task at hand. Communities that expect everyone of every faith or political view or ability, or age to embrace gender identity theory end-up with whole populations that self-exclude, such as gays and lesbians who understand sexual orientation to be biologically based, parents raising their children in evolutionary biology or spiritual/religious traditions or gender non-conforming people who do not believe that women or men must change their bodies to adhere to social expectations of their sex. When a group of true believers of any kind asks others to set aside material reality, it puts everyone else in the position of accommodating that belief. This creates tension and leaves some people feeling unable to participate honestly. Gender identity removes a person’s right to sex-based boundaries, which matter for safeguarding and clarity. Eg “I know, and see and can even hear that, that is a man and I do not want to treat him the same as my daughter in this activity or space.” Gender identity, as it currently stands, is unfalsifiable. There is no brain scan, blood test, or hormone profile that prove gender identities exist. Using clothing, hairstyles, or outward expression (no matter how visually passing it makes someone) just brings us back to stereotypes that are reductive and regressive. Why can’t women be extremely “masculine” Why can’t men be extremely “feminine” without calling themselves the opposite sex that they are? Why must we change shared language? Telling everyone that you, or your loved one is the opposite sex that they are, is not a neutral or progressive act. It requires others to suspend disbelief and go against actual shared reality. Therefore it is not a secular idea and should remain in the realm of religion in our shared spaces, not presented as progress or a fact.

@broadwaybabyto @TheatreSpoonie Living is a right! We have a right to care regardless of whether we fit into arbitrary standards of health or not! Our right to care shouldn't be dependent on standardized ideas of what health should look like! Health is often used as an oppressive standard to deny rights to care

Healthcare is a right. You shouldn’t have to earn it. It shouldn’t be dependent on employment or economic status. It shouldn’t be something you have to fight for. Universal healthcare saves lives.

I don't know how to break it to you, but if you have a visceral revulsion against the idea of slavery, then you have so fully internalized the values of the British that you are no longer aware of how peculiar this impulse is.

@FortniteFlip69 @Cozzyly_stingy @heyserenamunroe No it doesn't. Being trans means changing your gender to be comfortable in your body. You are no authority to judge trans women. Your personality has already shown you are much uglier than the person who loves their body. This isn't a beauty pageant and you're not the judge.

@svc503 @uglyluhan Yup. I think it's overblown but the Indians do have a gangsterism problem, like malays and rempits and chinese and ah longs. Videos of Indians with machetes are not helping.

Yes, Yehiel De-Nur (Ka-Tzetnik 135633), Eichmann trial witness, described this in his 1989 book "Shivitti: A Vision." An SS guard dumps the camp's marmalade ration on a Dutch Jewish prisoner nicknamed "Baby"; starving inmates then swarm and eat him alive on the parade ground, leaving a gnawed carcass. The "jam boy" reference is a separate myth he debunks.

While the whole 'jam boy' thing is a complete myth. What isn't is that one of the main jewish 'Holocaust survivor' witnesses at the Eichmann Trial - Yehiel De-Nur - later claimed the SS tipped a jar of marmalade on a jew in Auschwitz and his fellow jews promptly ate him alive on the spot.
