Yesterday was hiking the backside of Timpanogas to Stewart Falls, then down to @SundanceResort incredibly green for this time of year in #Utah. All a good warm up for adventures in the mountains of #Kosovo.

Spent a part of yesterday at @SMofA enjoying our friend’s entry in the annual quilt show. Springville Museum of Art a gem always worth a visit. Took in the rest of the collection while there. Highlights for me:

Spent a great evening with family up Box Elder Creek renewing old bonds. Forgot how much I miss the perfect Utah summer evenings. Thnx, all, for a fantastic reunion.

#Ogden became the country’s crossroads, bringing amazing economic growth, along with serious vice. We spent the afternoon touring Ogden’s #UnionStation and 25th Street, once a thriving business district that was in shambles when I left town. Great revitalization now.

#railroad is a huge part of #Utah history and the area where I grew up. Yesterday took the family to the site where the golden spike was driven to complete construction of the transcontinental railroad. That changed the world in many ways by laying the route for U.S. connections.

@swad2016 Could hit +33°C on Saturday in the south of Finland. Which might not be as hot as many places in Europe but we're kinda close to the Arctic Circle!

Every July in #Finland: I need to buy an air conditioner. This heat is crazy. Every February: I should buy the air conditioner now while there's plenty in stores because summer is right around the corner. Every July: Why didn't I get that air conditioner back in February?
