Today is a day to recognise people living with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties, as well as the amazing medical teams helping to diagnose and treat these issues.
Dysphagia affects around 50-60% of head & neck cancer survivors, and plays a huge role in patient safety, quality of life, and malnutrition. And the swallowing difficulties that often come with head & neck cancer is actually how our charity got its name 'The Swallows'!

I’ll keep reposting this. At 7 years post Tx I broke a tooth off. Root needs to come out in hospital. 6 + months wait. Having to pay a private Maxfac to do it. Restoration? Have to raid pension fund.
