I think you need to pick your battles, this is just a marketing tactic and I highly doubt they are going to choose KOL’s based on that. This is standard practice for anything to get visibility it’s not that deep, there are much bigger issues from a KOL/creator perspective and I don’t think this is an issue at all

Honestly, ignoring this is one of the biggest insults to the ecosystem. After countless discussions about how content creators deserve respect and how quality must be maintained, reducing the role of a KOL to merely retweeting and following is appalling. Quality needs to be improved across the board, and the right macros must be evaluated for both sides. Of course, for many, this won't be an issue there are over 500, maybe thousands, who would do it but this shouldn't be what is expected from a KOL. Constructive criticism is a lifesaver🙌

Reducing high-level KOLs to 'replay guys' for an international campaign is a special kind of marketing nightmare. You have an ecosystem of experts, yet you're treating them like engagement farm bots. I’d love to know who pitched this and thought it was a 'win.' Quality > Forced Quantity, always.

@serpinxbt IMO the label is broken. For example if I share an NFT collection on OS, with the OS label, I need to mark it as a paid partnership, but how will people know it's with OS and not the NFT/token?

strongly believe "Paid Partnership" tag will lead to unfollowing / less influence why would I want to see paid partnerships in my feed constantly? once I know you sold out to a D tier crypto team, I am much less interested in what you have to say

So the two just merged. No separation between the person and the mission. • What would you highlight right now among the things you’re building and consider truly important? - Three things, honestly. First - the @colosseum hackathon pipeline. Getting real builders to actually ship on @solana in the Balkans, not just attend events. That's the core. Second - Solana Summit Serbia in August. We're co-organizing the biggest crypto event in the region, 500+ people, Sava Centar in Belgrade. But the real bet is positioning it beyond crypto - fintech, AI, TradFi speakers in the same room as web3 builders. That crossover is where something interesting happens. Third - breaking out of the bubble. The Balkans has serious talent that has no idea Solana exists. Getting to those people - FAANG devs, university researchers, TradFi folks - that's the long game.
