Thrilled to confirm that after just 17 hours we have reunited Teddy in #mablethorpe. His family stayed calm, doing exactlynwhat we askednof them...we had boots in the ground postering, talking to land owners, businesses and tourists. No searching, no drones...and when we received the call of a sighting, the lovely lady threw food down and then watched from a safe distance. We talked the owner through what to do and directed her over the phone, and within minutes Teddy had surrendered himself to his mum and was safe. Team work, and the correct advice being followed by a fabulous owner. #Reunited @bbcemt @lincsfm

On one of the art auction sites I follow, this little bird came up for sale. Oh wow i want it, I thought, I’d love to wear that, it’s a must have. So I clicked on it to see the price 🫢I shall have to make my own version.

Compare and contrast. Juvenile Ospreys (L) have a 'scaly' appearance with white edges to their feathers compared to the adult's (R) more uniform colour. The youngsters' eyes are an amber colour, darker than the yellow of the grown ups. #FoulshawOspreys

Last night, I missed my last train home. When I finally got to Euston Station to wait until morning, I found it was locked. Feeling lost and about to cry, I met a homeless man named Mark. Mark offered to help me, saying it wasn’t safe for me to walk around alone. He took me to a nearby café where we had a coffee and a chat. After some time, he explained he had to leave to get his sleeping bag but promised he would return by 5 a.m. to walk me back to the station. Honestly, I didn’t believe he’d come back. But when I turned the corner at 5 a.m., there was Mark, running toward me. He had even taken a bus to keep his promise. This man, someone I might have ignored if he’d asked for spare change, turned what could have been a terrible night into a life-changing experience. Mark, you are truly special. ✅ ❤ This was also the first selfie he ever took! Credit-Nicole Sedgebeer ( respect🫡).

We remain on site in and around Nantwich following an incident involving distressed and dead fish. Work to aerate the water successfully reduced the number of mortalities. We have now withdrawn that work as the pollutant moves downstream.

We are still tracking a pollutant in the River Weaver - the cause of a significant number of distressed and dead fish. We are aerating water in Church Minshull to reduce the number of mortalities. We are actively monitoring downstream to assess the need for further intervention.

Friends! It’s Ron v The Camper Van… and I’m not sure who is winning. Mum didn’t understand why she was finding the Camper Van all over the house (even in the kitchen) until she realised Ron was going crazy with it and throwing it around. Here’s a sample! It’s #SundayFunday #catsofX

Meet Jake. Got a call from the gun shop guy here. He told me about his neighbor's calf. The neighbor passed and the family were going to put down the calf, nobody wanted him. Long story short, I now have a Highlander calf. I am such a sucker. Who could say no? 🤷‍♂️
