After calling police for his sickly elderly mom, police said they found child sexually abusive material “in plain view” at Pontiac man’s home. Matthew Brockway Kliewer, 42, was arraigned on six felony counts after being arrested for having thousands of pornographic images involving children. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said they discovered the stash during the welfare check. Kliewer’s mother was taken to the hospital, where she died that same day. The circumstances surrounding his mother’s death is still under investigation. Detectives seized the printed images along with several electronic devices, including computers, gaming systems, and a cell phone. “The terrible toll this takes on children must be laid at the door of the perpetrators,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said.
