@swims Up to 12?! I thought they were for ease of getting kids out of car seats etc because you need to open the door wide to do that safely! Crazy! I rarely get a parent / child space so I end up looking for a space next to a crossing instead, or parking far away from the entrance!

So what’s the rule with this parent child parking shit? When I go to Tesco with my actual newborn in the car, I can never get a space in a parent child bay, but all I see is people walking to these cars without their children… Like just having a car seat makes you eligible?!

@CommuteClub I go for Sudafed in a blue packet. Just normal tablets. I also have Sinex spray decongestant. That’s works a treat too!

This year I've really struggled to find a "good one" as I usually go for the standard sudafed but can't find it anywhere. Thought I'd got an alternative, but this morning I'm hunched over the toilet rejecting it's sinus relieving goodness. Vomiting with a blocked nose is NOT FUN!

Does anyone else have severe reactions to some cold and flu medication? I avoid the caffeine ones point blank, but I also have to be careful about medication in capsules. The coating rips my stomach to shreds and makes me vomit it back up 15mins after ingesting.

Thanks to the 4 lads who just laughed as I was stuck in my car trying to get home in the snow! Even after I actually asked if they’d help a pregnant lady, they just laughed and fucked off! So proud of youths like that today, they’re not cunts at all.

Update: just called the vets. She's still alive and apparently "doing well". They can't tell me more than that due to "patient confidentiality" but I'm glad she's still with us. If I call next Tuesday and no one has claimed her then we have an option to rehome her.

She's getting very unstable on her legs. Has just slept in the garden for the last few days and nights. Finally convinced* her to come and sleep in the house.
*scraped her up off the gravel where she was sleeping and forced her to take advantage of a warm bed for the night.

So it turns out the cat that has been visiting out garden for the last year does not belong to the next door neighbour. They don't know where she came from. She is horribly thin at the moment, so that's it...we're feeding her 3 meals a day & I'm going to try & get her to move in.
