Therefore, the kids objecting to a classmate displaying his racism proudly, is not doing anything wrong! The teacher is partially right. I do agree with her passion about kids being allowed to have free speech, but displaying the symbols of hate and violence that threaten to snuff out life itself, is not going to get a fair treatment l, because it doesn’t deserve one!

This is the kind of teacher America needs more of. A kid shows up in a MAGA hat and gets surrounded by a mob trying to bully him into taking it off. Instead of joining in or staying silent, the teacher steps up and shuts it down not for politics but for basic respect and freedom. No kid should be shamed for what they believe. That's because the bias in our content has always been the pursuit of truth. The problem is, however, that we live in a world full of stupid people. And stupid people think that when you don't agree with them it could only be because of bias. Smart people know disagreement is natural and try to understand where other people are coming from because they know that's how you get closer to the truth. But smart people are the rarer of the two, sadly.
