“After asking around, I get a strong sense that Tyler Herro and the Miami Heat are heading for a divorce this summer. One way or another”

@Heat_Muse@Dukielang If we can’t get Ayo/Grimes, I wouldn’t mind bringing Norman back if we don’t have Herro anymore. But we absolutely can’t have both.
Stephen A Smith thinks Kawhi Leonard would be a TERRIBLE investment for the Miami Heat:
“No way in hell. I don’t trust Kawhi Leonard’s health as far as I can throw it. I don’t give a damn what nobody says. He’s the type of person that would come to Miami, get hurt, and then be hanging on the beach. Hell no! I’m going with Giannis all day everyday. There is no way in hell I’m going after Kawhi Leonard”

Chris Mannix says Giannis main priority is winning, and doesn’t think he can win in Miami:
“They are going to be a major player for Giannis this summer…. Is getting Giannis on that team moving the needle that much? Giannis is focused on winning. I don’t think Miami gives you the best chance to win. I would think HOU, MIN maybe. New York if you only have to give up Towns. Teams that have the best chance to win given what Miami would have to give up to get Giannis, I don’t put them there.”

@nic_rohloff I’m not the biggest fan of him due to his age- I think he’ll be 30 when his rookie deal ends but if he could come in and immediately be impactful the pick could grow on me
Pat Riley, when asked about what traits the Heat need to add, mentioned length, shooting & ball handling.
If Miami keeps the 2026 1st round pick & stays at 13 - feel pretty confident Yaxel Lendeborg will be their top guy.
Riley on who Miami will go after this summer:
• someone with sufficient “size” and “length”
• someone to help Bam who’s a “different kind of player”
It’s very obvious who they want.
Things are looking really good for Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs:
They just took a 3-1 series lead in Portland, and are set to face either the Timberwolves without Anthony Edwards or an exhausted Nuggets team that just played 7 games.
The Western Conference Finals is in sights for Wemby’s first year in the playoffs.
Buckle up.
