Making an album is like climbing a mountain — an intentional step forward for the band and the story we are telling. The time between albums gave us space to rebuild our creative energy. We lost a legend today. John Perkins was a true light. He inspired us so much. A true gift. Dr Perkins gave encouragement, wisdom, and kindness to our band in ways that shaped our lives deeply. His warmth and unwavering compassion were not reserved for a few—they were extended to those who disagreed with him. His life was a living reminder of good news—the kind of hope that doesn’t ignore pain but confronts it with truth, grace, and courage. His story challenges all of us with a simple but powerful question: what will we do with the love we’ve been given? In his honor, may we keep loving, keep hoping, and keep fighting for a world where compassion is stronger than division.

27 years of New Way To Be Human.. what's your favorite track from this album? Fun fact: we got @OBEYGIANT (founder of @obeyclothing) to do the cover for us. Years later @ledzeppelin hired him for their “Mothership” compilation. Full circle for a couple kids who started playing as a zeppelin cover band.
