@SOrangeJuice Instead of intentionally missing a free throw when down with about one second left, someone needs to perfect that shot if their team has the arrow. I never thought of it but it’s a sure way to get the ball out of bounds with no time coming off the clock.
And UConn is no longer a No. 1 seed.
Interestingly enough, the loss actually opens the door for the Huskies to be in the East Region.
Hurley playing chess.
@SOrangeJuice This a game was the nail in the coffin. Yes, the schedule is such to win out and take down two top teams, but if anyone can sit there after watching this team this season and think that’s possible, good for them, but I can’t.
@SOrangeJuice Definitely 4-1 and then need to win the first round and maybe the second round. I’m not so sure that first game will be Creighton. They have UConn, SJ, and then hopefully one of those teams again in the BE Semis, and they need to win 2 out of 3.
Good morning!
Following their 63-56 win at Butler, Seton Hall improves to #49 in the NET rankings and #48 over at Kenpom.
While game was briefly a Q1 victory, that changed overnight with Butler (#80), falling to Q2. Home loss to Butler now a Q3 loss, SHU's first. Metrics!
@RetroNewsNow I think Kimberly got her cell phone while she was in the closet and texted Phillip Drummond to call the police and that’s how they got out.
📺On January 28, 1984, NBC aired the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ episode, ‘The Hitchhikers,’ in which Arnold and Kimberly learn the dangers of hitchhiking when they are abducted and held captive by a sinister man
Who can Sean Payton Call to play QB with only a week before the Broncos play in the AFC championship game? One call he could try to make that may break the internet is Brady. Doubt he would do it but boy would that make for great TV!
Donovan McNabb wants the Eagles to bring back Kevin Patullo next season.
“Jalen has had four or five offensive coordinators since entering the league — and eight or nine since he stepped on Alabama’s campus. How do you develop as a quarterback when you’re constantly learning a new offense?”
@JeffSkversky@ESPNNFL That’s not it Kelce. The players didn’t make plays because they were given terrible inefficient plays, like 4 verts every other play. I’m becoming more and more surprised that this team actually won 11 games.
“I love Kevin Patullo. I know he’s a great coach”
🔥 Fired Up Eagles Legend Jason Kelce passionately defends OC Kevin Patullo and calls out #Eagles players
“We’re mediocre across-the-board, that that’s unacceptable… the players didn’t
make the plays”
📸 @ESPNNFL
@ScooterMagruder I used to do the same thing when the Cowboys were eliminated in years that they made it. Yeah, the Eagles lost in the playoffs. A rival team can’t win a Super Bowl every year so the opportunity to do this is usually there.
@BreidenFehoko They have a Kevin Patullo problem. McKee would’ve lit it up last week to get the 2 seed but he didn’t either. Same OC, different QB, same losing.
The world got to see Philadelphia doesn’t have a Kevin Patullo problem. They have a Quarterback problem. Howie Roseman built a super team to cover up the deficiencies of his QB.
Sirianni’s obsession with winning the turnover battle was part of the problem this year. Yes, turnovers are bad, but when it is your “identity” it keeps you from taking necessary risks. Playing overly safe isn’t always good. It works when you have a ground game. They won it today
@EliotShorrParks The best path would be
Home vs 49ers
Home vs Panthers
Homes vs Packers
I don’t think this coaching staff can get through that either and then win a fourth. They should be able to get through either with the talent they have, but I don’t see it happening.
The most likely path for the Eagles to the Super Bowl:
Home vs 49ers
At Chicago
At Seattle
A winnable path. Question is can they string together three good games & can they handle loud environments in CHI/SEA
@ArcainiLuke They do play the early Saturday game all the time but I doubt they’d put a Sunday night game winner on Saturday. So I think they’re Monday and the Panthers are the early Saturday game.
Prediction for Wild Card Weekend:
Sat 4:25 - Houston vs AFC North
Sat 8:00 - Bills vs Jacksonville
Sun 1:00 - Pats vs Chargers
Sun 4:25 - Eagles vs Niners
Sun 8:15 - Packers vs Bears
Mon 8:15 - Rams vs Panthers
Death, taxes, and the Houston Texans at 4:00 on Saturday.
