Huge thanks to @BridgendCollege @LynEvans2 and all the staff, students and volunteers who have been helping to grow devil's-bit scabious plants for our marsh fritillary reinforcement project. The plants will help restore habitat and to feed thousands of caterpillars. Thank you.

Speaking today to a lady who is doing so much to help wildlife. So refreshing. Manages this verge outside her house & her garden to maximise wildflowers for insects to boost the food supply for her many House martins! Joining up the dots.

Day 30 #30dayswild good day to reflect @30DaysWild Highlight definitely owlets Day 1 but the fly catchers fledging, young master woodpecker, the midi meadow continues to surprise: orchids, harebells, rattling with yellow rattle, butterflies flit through. Stay wild everyday

Dear Councils, Foxgloves should be growing now, and can be a lifeline for hungry bumblebees. So please don't overmow or spray roadverges and green corners. And a big thank you if you are already prioritising biodiversity over non-essential 'neat & tidy' 🐝
