In the 2015 U.S. Am, Derek Bard beat Davis Riley, Sepp Straka, and Jon Rahm before falling to Bryson in the finals. He was destined to be a star. But golf happened. And Bard found himself playing mini-tour events and working outside services at a country club. Today he shot 62 at the Houston Open Monday Q and will play in his first PGA Tour event since 2017.
