I’m thinking in a few years I might actually look into back surgery for my scoliosis , it’s not something I want but unfortunately it might be needed esp in the long run, has anyone had the surgery what was it / the recovery like?

@suemcco11 That’s your body telling you something…for me, when I start to have dreams about my pain I know it’s time to deal with it…it’s telling me it’s wearing on myself conscious

@suemcco11 I understand, I’ve been there for most of my life and pain management definitely gets old and wears on your mental wellness…my best advice is to trust your gut, listen to your body, it will tell you when enough is enough

@sykik75 i think unfortunately it will be necessary at some point as i’ve been managing pain for years and it’s just not nice and walking is nearly always painful

@suemcco11 I’ve been seeing a chiropractor since I was 16…I’ve had my kids see a chiropractor since 10yo…the 3 of us have avoided surgery so far coming from a family with a history of back issues and surgeries…m dad had a titanium rod in his back

@sykik75 i’ve done chiropractor appointments for years and it helps but only to an extent sadly
