Those who have never struggled with rent in KL or Penang will never get why there is demand for these cheap options when the rent is RM800-1200 and salary is stagnant, RM300 for a tent with a roof and fan actually solves a problem for someone it is the free market doing its job in reality • landlord uses his property • tenant chooses or walks away • if no demand, he naturally pokai and has to change setup the “report him” crowd just wants more government rules and ethics debates but this wouldn’t fix housing issue it usually makes things worse, e.g. fewer cheap options Supply and demand isn’t the villain. Blocking cheap solutions is

People calling this landlord “illegal” and “cut-throat capitalism” completely miss the point so this landlord in Malaysia ridiculously turned his house hall into 5 indoor tents each tent rents for RM400/month ($100) to fresh grads and young workers. Shared toilets. but it is NOT illegal this is just how the free market works • the owners have the right to decide how to use their property • tenants have the right to decide if they want to pay RM400 for a silly tent or look for something better • no one is forced • if nobody wants the tents, the landlord loses money. He will have to lower the price or scrap the tents and turn it back into a normal room that is how the market fixes things automatically bigger problems will arise when government interventions stop landlords from offering cheap options at all then young people end up with zero affordable places Supply and demand isn’t evil, that’s how the market should work

You have a shoebox full of receipts. A folder of tax documents you have not touched since 2021. An insurance policy buried somewhere in a drawer. A rental agreement you spent 45 minutes looking for last time you needed it. Someone built a tool that scans every document you own, reads it, and makes it searchable forever. On your own server. For free. It is called Paperless-ngx. 35,500+ stars on GitHub. You scan a document. Or photograph it with your phone. Or forward an email attachment. Paperless-ngx does the rest. Here is what happens automatically: - OCR reads every word on the page. 100+ languages. Powered by Tesseract. - Machine learning identifies what the document is. Invoice. Tax form. Medical record. Contract. - Auto-tags it. "Utilities." "Insurance." "Amazon." "Tax 2024." No manual sorting. - Auto-assigns the sender. It knows this letter is from your bank, not your landlord. - Stores it as PDF/A. The format designed to last decades. Your originals are kept untouched. - Full-text search across everything. Type "dentist receipt March" and find it in seconds. Here is what else it does: - Email ingestion. Connect your inbox. Every attachment gets scanned and filed automatically. - Custom workflows. Trigger actions when specific documents arrive. - Web dashboard with drag-and-drop uploading from any browser. - Multi-user support with per-document permissions. Share with your family or team. - Runs on a Raspberry Pi. Here's the wildest part: DocuWare charges $300-1,200 per user per year. M-Files charges up to $2,400 per user per year. Adobe Acrobat Pro for teams costs $23.99 per license per month. A 10-person team on DocuWare pays $3,000-12,000 a year. On M-Files, up to $24,000 a year. Paperless-ngx on a $5 VPS: $60 a year. Unlimited users. Unlimited documents. Forever. Your documents stay on YOUR server. Not Adobe's cloud. Not DocuWare's servers. Not Google Drive. Yours. 384 contributors. 136 releases. 2,200+ forks. Battle-tested for years. GPL-3.0 licensed. Self-hosted. Free forever. 100% Open Source. (Link in the comments)

Baru tahu ahli parlimen hanya akan hilang kerusi dia kalau dia ponteng sesi parlimen 6 bulan berturut turut. Contoh kalau dia ponteng 5 bulan straight tapi tetiba mai satu session ja, no consequences untuk dia. Man what a joke.

Biggest Airdrop You’re Ignoring 🪂 💰Funding - $43 Million 🪙 Token - $RLY 🫂 Backed By - Coinbase, Archetype, Variant, and Big More... @RelayProtocol lets you swap assets across EVM & non-EVM chains in a single flow. 🪂 How To Position (3 Simple Way) 1️⃣ Connect Any Wallet MetaMask / Phantom / OKX / Tron → Connect to Relay 2️⃣ Do Cross-Chain Swaps 🌐 relay.link/bridge ETH ↔ SOL Base ↔ other chains 👉 Act like a real user, not a bot 3️⃣ Use Relay Vaults (optional) 🌐 relay.link/vaults Deposit ETH → Earn bridging fees Build stronger on-chain history That's it....🪂 📌 My Advice - Would be to build volume in the beginning - at least $2,500. After that, make sure to bridge at least once a week, whether it’s $100 or $1,000. 🧠 If An Airdrop Happens Consistent User's Win...👑 Like 🧡 Retweet 🔁 #Airdrop #Crypto

LifeMathMoney ₿ | Unapologetic Truths.
Women go though a complete change of life sometime in their 30s as men no longer go out of their way to help them and stop treating them favorably Men have the same experience, but in their late teens as they exit childhood This fundamental difference is why young men and young women have completely different understandings of the world, and why men vote right wing while women vote left wing Men go through life having to earn everything. Young women think getting things for free is normal

Isu kat sini adalah bukannya kita jarang celebrate women, tapi orang macam kamu yg rasa “its never enough compliment” Women get compliments literally just for existing. Just for being a mother. Kalau kau tak dapat sedikit pujian bila buat bare minimum pun, anak u still akan sanjung u lebih drpd bapak dia, sampai akhir hayat. Bayangkan setiap kali kita focus sikit on nak appreciating lelaki, mesti org macam kamu make it a gender issue, “what about women??” As if u never see people celebrating mothers on Mother Day, Women’s Day, heck… even Father’s day pun orang nak ungkit pasal perempuan juga. Tak pernah cukup.
alice ♤@fishandnoodls

takde siapa ckp salah untuk puji lelaki buat the bare minimum, but do people praise mothers for doing the same? The problem is when men get praised for doing the bare minimum while women are just expected to be good at it

Dear UM, UMMC Remember the dead cats with surgical precision wounds? I am afraid there are serious integrity issues and we need independent 3rd party investigation. Your statements lacks credibility.
BFM News@NewsBFM

UMMC denies allegations linking its PET-CT machine to cancer cases among staff, saying radiation exposure levels were far below safety limits. It says strict SOPs were followed, with staff required to use dosimeters and undergo regular health checks. 🧵1

A teenage girl reportedly fell into a hole on a pedestrian walkway at Ara Damansara. Threads user @/amirhasri864 shared several pictures showing the victim standing in the hole while passersby tried to get her out. @/amirhasri864 wrote that the girl was fortunate because the heavy rain hadn’t started and urged the Petaling Jaya municipal council (MBPJ) to look into the matter because it’s a safety risk to the public. The incident sent shockwaves on social media. A Threads user highlighted the electric cables inside the hole, showing just how the girl narrowly avoided an even greater danger. @therakyatpost Traffic lights for pedestrian near to St Joseph International school also never repaired (forever red for pedestrian). Reported for long time to MBPJ but no action. Imagine the safety of kids & also parents who have to cross the road with speeding cars along Persiaran Tropicana.

Dari dulu lagi aku dah advocate jangan londeh & pukul penyondol je, instead, pukul laki kau yang gatal tu. But of course there were men who disagreed & mocked me. Sebab apa? Sebab nak normalize to not hold men accountable for wrecking their own marriage

What's not mentioned is that JKR directly decides road design guidelines, which almost always favour private vehicle throughput over every other form of transport You can see the result of this in the widening of Jln Semarak/Sultan Yahya Petra
