@WalidCheriij Thank you!! I've been working on a lot behind the scenes, it's mostly just scattered experiments :)

Drawing what you love is the core of a sustainable relationship with your art and most people skip nurturing this step.
The advice seems nebulous and vague, but it's actually EVERYTHING.
It's hard to understand until you see what happens when you ignore it long term.

I wish big artists actually gave useful advices instead of saying “just draw for yourself bro” over and over again😞 Like, why they never tell people that they should post almost everyday? Why don’t they tell people how to utilize trends and how to make your OCs presentable?

@sylessae for sureee! I think the issue is, alot of younger artists are looking for a short term fast solution to fame, when art is a really long journey in itself tbh

It’s so simple that people disbelieve it and watch 1000 tutorials looking for the secret sauce.
This is the secret sauce.

How I do anatomy studies: 1. Pick one area you struggle with. 2. Gather more references than you think you need. 3. Try copying them, but without tracing. 4. Then try from memory or a different angle. That’s how learning actually works. I wish someone told me that years ago.
