It all depends on where they draft him. If at number 3, no that’s too high. If they trade down for more picks and get an opportunity to draft him somewhere between 10 & 20, then yeah he’s a good prospect at that price. All the folks predicting he will go lower than that are gonna be wrong. With the severe qb shortage in the NFL, there’s no way he’ll last beyond pick #20. In fact I won’t be shocked if someone takes him in the top 10. I also think he’s a better prospect than he’s given credit for. You need to bear in mind he lost 20 lbs during the past season due to a digestive infection of some sort that took months to recover fully from. This is pure political theater. No you can’t just slap “reconciliation” on a bill and magically pass election law with 50 votes. That’s not how the Senate works. Reconciliation is for budget matters taxes, spending, debt. The SAVE Act is election law. The Senate Parliamentarian would strip out anything that doesn’t qualify under the Byrd Rule. They know this. So why push it? Because 60 votes aren’t there, and this is about selling a workaround that doesn’t exist. It’s not a strategy. It’s false hope packaged as a plan.

🚨BREAKING: Sen. John Kennedy is moving to put the SAVE America Act as RECONCILIATION, which only needs 50+1 votes. Reconciliation means they can pass it with 50 votes, not 60. If the SAVE America Act is written as a budget-related bill (money, funding, enforcement) it qualifies for reconciliation which allows it to pass with a simple majority. Why has it taken so long to come up with this? Why is Senator Kennedy coming up with it? … Instead of our leader John Thune? Thune has to go! Whether corrupt, compromised, or utterly incompetent, he has to go!
