Hey @ILSecOfState, it’s time to crack down on the abuse of “In Transit” license plates that are meant for car transporters. I see people driving cars with these plates on a daily basis that are clearly being used for personal use.

Jesus Christ, are we already back on to this bullshit discourse again? Can we bring back all the fun Japanese people? A least their conversations didn’t revolve around a dick measuring contest.

Sure, but in return, a lot of EV people on this app need to stop sounding like broken records about every single thing related to ICE vehicles and stop with the “holier than thou” attitudes. You guys care way too much about what other people drive.

@atlanticesque “Walkable” definitely means different things to different people. To some people it means being in a 15 minute city. To some it means just having sidewalks and the ability to walk around without being in the street. To some it may just be being able to walk to the park.

Some people really think “walkable” means “a place where you’d want to go for a stroll”

@Wolfe2x7 I actually prefer Forza Horizon’s semi-open world to the later fully open worlds.

Forza Horizon was so exciting to me because I thought the industry had finally "discovered" the idea of open world driving sims. 🐺 It was based upon FM4's engine. They were honest about the concessions they made, and why. The barrier-lined roads felt designed for a challenge.

I had a concept a while back about converting an old mall into an expo space with car shows in mind. All the store fronts could be space for vendors or swap meet, the anchor stores can be extra expo space, just a large climate indoor space for car shows. Yeah I know it’s dumb

I’m done ranting here, but I think I’ve made my point. Just let people drive what they want to drive and stop looking down on them for it. We all have better shit to worry about.

Also, what does it matter to you if someone else wants an EV with 400-500 miles of range? If they already get that in an ICE car, why should they accept less with an EV? Same goes for charging speed. People want hyper fast DCFC charging speeds. Why is that such a big deal?
