Hi everyone. I asked Shollto to share a review of his time at the validator school @synctems . So, the naive thoughts of an “almost grown-up” pup. 💚 To be honest: spinning up a validator isn’t the hard part. It’s like turning on the sprinkler in our Crypto Garden-couple of commands and the water’s flowing. The real value of the school is elsewhere. Here they teach you how to interact with projects the right way, evaluate them properly, apply for delegations, and take part in network life so you add signal, not noise. A word about support. If you’re worried you won’t manage or you don’t have enough experience-don’t be. Everyone can launch a validator. The mentors literally work with each person one-on-one: they explain what caused your error and how to fix it. During classes, if you have a question, a mentor jumps in with you and walks through it step by step. Sometimes they even help on their days off-just to make sure you reach the finish line. You can feel that care, and it really soothed my anxious tail. The best part is access to private Discord channels and chats full of fellow enthusiasts. Some have a long trail of experience behind them, others are as green as me. And that’s the key: experience is transferable. You ask-they answer. You stumble-they catch you. No one laughs at paw prints on reports; instead, they’ll straighten things out and point you in the right direction. And remember: the most valuable things are time, experience, and knowledge. After graduation, you’re not dropped into a void. You land in a living community of people who work closely with validation and more: they discuss risks, share opportunities, introduce each other. It’s easy to find partners and even form a team. Dog-short: the buttons are the easy part. People, process, and support-that’s the good stuff. I’m wagging my tail and voting “yes,” and I recommend the school to anyone who wants to be useful to ecosystems, not just spin up boxes. Tessi drops by sometimes and smiles: “Good job, Shollto.” And I keep watching over the garden-more confident now, because I know there are folks nearby who’ll tell me where to lay the next stepping stone on the path.💚

💚 Shollto at the Validator School 💚 The lessons go on - and Shollto’s tail spins with joy like a little propeller! 😂 Lesson after lesson, our puppy is starting to feel much more confident. 💙We’ve learned how to care for validator services so they don’t wither without attention. 💜We were shown how to choose a network - like a gardener picking the right soil for new sprouts. 🤎And most importantly - we were taught where and how to communicate with network representatives, so that our sprouts can grow into true trees of trust. For the first time, Shollto realized: being a validator isn’t just about the tech - it’s also about knowing how to present yourself to the world. And then, a small miracle happened: he created a logo for his future validator 💚 With his heart pounding, he planted it into the testnet - and the little sprout came alive! Next comes the big step: choosing the blockchain where Shollto will put down real roots and launch his validator on the mainnet. For now - huge thanks to the Validator School and the mentors, who help even those with paws instead of hands. ❤️ P.S. What do you think of the logo? Tessie and Shollto are thinking of changing its colors with the seasons - since the garden changes its palette so much throughout the year. ☺️
