giselle says kiss n tell was originally a b-side for a korean album, and she even suggested it like ‘what if we have a comeback with this song’. and it eventually became a title track for their japanese album. she also says it’s probably her favorite song among all of aespa’s songs~

giselle explaining the kiss n tell lore 🌙 originally, kiss n tell was supposed to be a b-side. it was a b-side on a korean album... or was it on a japanese one? anyway, it was originally just a regular b-side track. but honestly, the song was just so, so, so good that i talked to the members about it. i was like, “what if we just made our comeback with kiss n tell instead?” like, instead of songs like lemonade and all that. I actually suggested that. i just really liked kiss n tell… it was completely my style. i kept thinking, “i really want to make a comeback with this song.” but realistically, it didn't really fit aespa's overall concept. still, we thought it might work well for a japanese album, so i asked the members, “what do you think about making it the japanese title track?” we all talked about it together, and that's how we ended up choosing kiss n tell as the title track. personally, it's a song i really, really love, so i hope you all end up loving it a lot too
