Diana is only 16, a high school student. Last month, Islamic regime thugs invaded her home and kidnapped her. Today they sentenced her to death by hanging—a child! This regime is killing children and raping girls in prison. Please be her voice. #DianaTaherAbadi #ديانا_طاهرآبادى

Emma and Mr. Knightley have a fight - Emma (2020) subs ES/PT-BR youtu.be/G--qVwWmL5U?si… via @YouTube Jane Austens ‘Emma’ er en roman om kvinnelig manipulasjon. Emma er mindre usympatisk enn Lucy Steele i ‘Sense & Sensibily’, men likevel farligere grunnet samfunnsklasse.

Hva i huleste bedriver NRK?

Förslagen föreslås träda i kraft 2 juli.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has released a video ahead of Easter decrying antisemitism and calling on Catholics to “speak out clearly” against it. “The Church, mindful of the patrimony she shares with the Jews and moved not by political reasons but by the Gospel’s spiritual love, decries hatred, persecutions, displays of antisemitism directed against Jews at any time and by anyone,” Archbishop Alexander Sample of Portland, Oregon, said in a March 18 video message posted by the USCCB. “The Jewish community is attacked at a far higher rate than any other religious group in the United States,” he said. “If we Catholics, in truly living out the Gospel, are to defend religious freedom with integrity, we must clearly speak out against antisemitism.” The USCCB’s message comes less than 20 days before the Easter Triduum, during which Catholics “celebrate the central events of our faith,” Sample said. However, the archbishop said, “sadly, the celebration of Easter has at times been the occasion for outbursts of hatred and even violence against Jews.” “The guilt for the suffering of Jesus is especially great in us because we who profess to know Christ deny him with our sins,” he said, citing the Catechism of the Council of Trent, which rejects the claim, known as the myth of deicide, that the Jewish people bear the guilt for the death of Jesus, as well as the Second Vatican Council document Nostra Aetate. “Indeed, Good Friday ought to be an occasion for us to return to the Lord, not to scapegoat others,” he said, describing the myth of deicide as “a profound misunderstanding of what took place on Good Friday” and a significant source of historic and modern antisemitism. “As Catholics, we are called to walk in the truth, and so to reject the conspiracies and lies that lead to harassment and even violence against our Jewish brothers and sisters,” Sample said. Nathan Diament, executive director of public policy for the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations in America, welcomed Sample’s remarks, telling EWTN News: “The statement by Archbishop Sample on behalf of the USCCB could not come at a more important time with bad actors weaponizing Catholicism to spread antisemitic views.” “We are grateful for the leadership of the Church itself stating unequivocally that the Church rejects those assertions and repudiates antisemitism,” he said. The Church’s views on antisemitism recently became the center of controversy when media personality Carrie Prejean Boller was removed from the White House-sponsored Religious Liberty Commission last month for remarks she made during a hearing focused on antisemitism. The former Miss California repeatedly stated during the hearing that her Catholic faith prevented her from embracing Zionism, despite Catholic teaching that does not oppose Israel as a nation or the Jewish people. Boller also repeatedly pressed Jewish panelists on whether her views made her an antisemite. Catholic teaching does not explicitly oppose Zionism, the movement supporting Jewish self‑determination in a homeland in Israel. Ancient Israel is seen as God’s chosen people through whom God revealed himself and prepared the way for the coming of Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church universally condemns antisemitism. The Church recognizes Israel’s fundamental right to exist. ewtnnews.com/world/us/archb…

ASSYRIA TODAY ܐܬܼܘܪ ܝܘܡܢܐ
Assyrian Christian Maria Farhad, Miss Iraq 2021, wearing traditional Assyrian attire, stands in front of the historic Nineveh Wall, which dates back 2,700 years and extends for 12 kilometers. The Assyrian Christian people are the living continuation of ancient Assyria, preserving a heritage that has endured for thousands of years. The great walls of Nineveh are a powerful testament to the strength, sophistication, and legacy of the ancient Assyrian Empire—one of the greatest civilizations in human history. Once the capital of a vast empire in Mesopotamia and stretching across the Near East, Nineveh was a center of culture, administration, and architectural achievement. Its massive fortifications, monumental gates, and advanced urban planning reflected the vision and authority of the Assyrian kings. Today, the ruins of Nineveh stand as a symbol of Assyrian heritage, resilience, and identity—honoring a people whose history continues to endure despite centuries of change and challenge. #Nineveh #NinevehPlains #Assyrian #Assyria #AssyrianEmpire #MariaFarhad #MissIraq2021

Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the Palestinian family whose relatives were killed by an Iranian missile yesterday. This is something nice to see. I hope this doesn’t stop here, that the same gesture will be extended to the family in Tammun who lost their loved ones days ago and to those facing daily terror attacks from settlers across the West Bank.

This is Navid Soltanpour’s sister. Her brother was murdered by the regime just 3 DAYS ago. 💔 The Islamic Republic has turned Iran into a dark slaughterhouse by shutting down the internet! Why? Because they are committing mass atrocities, and they don't want the world to see. We have absolutely no idea what the hell they are doing to hundred of innocent people in the absolute dark right now! Do not let them kill our people in silence!

I was blessed to have had the ability to relocate some of my surviving immediate family members from Gaza to the UAE during the most ferocious days of the war following October 7, in which our family’s two homes were destroyed, and dozens were killed and maimed by Israeli airstrikes. They were welcomed by the kindness, generosity, and openness that are so characteristic of the Emirati ethos, whether by the country’s wise leadership or compassionate and informed citizenry. My mom, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews moved to Fujairah in the eastern parts of the UAE, a place they now consider home, and look to as an opportunity to rebuild their shattered lives and repair the damage associated with life under Hamas and the decimated Gaza Strip. All of them suffer from severe PTSD, but were making immense progress in their schooling, medical healing journeys, and finding a new life – until Iranian missiles, drones, and instruments of death began unjustly and unjustifiably raining down upon them. They live close to the Fujairah port, which was exporting hydrocarbons to the outside world to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, and have endured the fear and terror from indiscriminate and random attacks by a terrorist regime determined to destroy any symbols of life, stability, security, and success (to be clear, these began in the very early stage of the war – before Iran’s energy facilities had been attacked). They felt the sheer terror of Tehran’s ruthless calculus that began targeting the UAE in the early stages of this current war, even though Abu Dhabi had made it clear that it was a neutral party to the Iran-US-Israel conflict. Four-year-old Maria started experiencing panic attacks that she had last experienced under bombardment in Gaza two years ago, while baby Ahmed began showing signs of uncontrollable aggression and fear despite his usually lovely and very calm nature. Ironically, however, the new fighting spirit of the local population, Emirati and otherwise, has been incredibly inspiring and reassuring. Instead of collapsing into fear, the Emirati ethos and the perseverance of the UAE's society and leadership have bolstered a new realignment and strengthened societal bonds across national differences. Local Emiratis have been especially supportive and in tune with my mom and nieces and nephews, even as they themselves face unrelenting threats and risks. That this occurred in Ramadan was a boost to the spirit of unity and togetherness, adding a new dimension to the uniqueness of the UAE’s identity, and it is why the Emirates will emerge from this stronger. As Islamists, terrorists, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the dark lords of regression reveal their true anti-human colors, I am unabashedly and unashamed to stand with our US allies in the Middle East, and especially, the United Arab Emirates, in the face of evil and destructive Iranian aggression against their soil, peoplehood, and resources.

Cyrus 🇸🇪 🇮🇷 🇮🇱 🇺🇸
