@3dgethe3rd shad gens platforming is generally just a clunky physics problem. With a really weak air boost, boosting while jumping making you lose momentum instead of carry it (crazy forces did this right), and a heavy jump in general. its an alright game but this stuff makes-

sega having this animation team and sticking with em since the shad gens dark beginnings stuff might’ve been one of the biggest scores for this franchise man. this is like how these characters move when I imagine em fighting in my head
