There is nothing wrong with making a trans character mean. But the problem comes when you make them a stereotype oh "oh I bully cis women because I'm a trans women" Like literally Jax makes fun of Zooble's gender in her thoughts. Like Jaz is a harmful trans stereotype -

He is horrible rep tho. Jax is a walking transfem stereotype. The writers sat down and decided to make their transfem character a misogynistic abuser that also has weird sexual fantasies about one of the women he abuses.

@synwithagrine I will be honest i only watched ep1 of tadc and the rest of my knowledge comes from what other people have said online i am just looking for confirmation here, isn’t jax’s sexual remarks towards gangle supposed to be one of jax’s intrusive thoughts and not an actual fantasy?

@skeppysbf I actually do believe that this was the intention with writing her, it's just that to me a lot of it falls flat because Jax (and lowkey a lot of the others in the circus) weren't written too well

@kk_vantASS Those are not intrusive thoughts because that is just how she sees gangle and she isn't at all distressed by them. Even prior to episode nine she is saying it's okay to treat gangle the way she does because "She likes it though"

@synwithagrine As a transfem, I think it’s weird how everyone says Jax is bad trans rep… because Jax is a bad person? The show doesn’t pretend otherwise, and Jax is punished by the narrative for her actions. There *are* trans women who are abusers, misogynists, and predators.
