I can't stop thinking about the Feast for traitors scene yday. I almost expected someone to come from behind and stab Daemon from the back. With these highly skilled shadow people apparently, why didn't he sneak one in the Red Keep kitchen and take one of the Daemyra out.

@Noneofyatime exactly! it’s such a disservice to both characters because they both knew what they were getting into as it was supposed to provide a sort of comfort/safety in their relationship. like armand gets a place for his vulnerability and louis gets a way to to not feel powerless.

the writers didn't even pretend to watch s1&2, saying they never talked about it at all when armand bared himself for louis to see his vulnerability in 2×04, mind you that ep was a more confrontational, more earnest acknowledgement of his trauma & louis learning to understand him
