We used a wide range of systems biology tools to analyze multi-omics data from the clinical trials (Phase 2 and 3), complemented with detailed clinical variables of the patients. This study suggested a role for such a therapeutic regime in complex diseases, including COVID-19.

We hope that this study can contribute significantly to the field of systems biology and cardiovascular disease research. Lastly, we would like to thank all contributors and collaborators for their supports in this study.

We were able to identify global and tissue-specific gene clusters that showed an important response to MI. We were also able to identify dysregulation in multiple biological processes also tissue-specific dysregulation in biological processes in the liver and heart.
