🚨 Journalist Glenn Greenwald SHREDS the idea that elected officials are entitled to the same privacy as private citizens: "When you're a politician, in exchange for the power you get, you have an expectation to sacrifice some of your privacy in the name of transparency — that's just the tradeoff!" It's true with financial disclosures, and the same is (or should be) true with health. @ggreenwald on his husband's health battle as an elected official in Brazil, and why transparency was so important to him as his health declined:
