I never really believed in the existence of Goblynz.
They were just sketches to me, weird little things people joked about, campfire stories.
Nothing real, Nothing alive.
That’s what I thought…until that night.
I went camping for the first time, I was really excited, the fire was weak, barely lighting anything, but we were talking, laughing, doing nothing important.
The air felt heavy, thick with that damp earthy smell that sticks to your skin.
That’s when I noticed one of the drawings on the stone wall next to us move.
It blinked, I froze.
I told myself it was the smoke, the shadows, my eyes playing tricks. But then another one shifted. Its shape… changed.
Slow, intentional, then the ground started to move.
Mud cracked open beneath us, and they started pulling themselves out, one by one they came out, different types, We were terrified.
Mud dwellers crawled out first. Then peasants, grinning like they knew something we didn’t. Hexers slipped through the smoke, whispering. Gold hoarders came clutching coins that echoed too loud in the silence.
Travelers didn’t climb out, they just appeared, like they’d already been here… just unseen.
The nobles ones just stood still, watching.
And then everything changed.
The fire went out.
Not slowly, Not naturally.
It was Just… gone.
That’s when it hit me.
The fire wasn’t for warmth, It wasn’t for light.
It was a cage.
And we had just been sitting around it… feeding it… keeping it alive.
Keeping them in.
One of them stepped towards me, small, strange, and stitched together in a way that didn’t make sense.
“You didn’t believe in us,” it said.
It's voice sounded like something that I've never heard before.
“That helped.”
Then it smiled.
It was 4,800 of them, I was bewildered.
They didn’t attack, They didn’t conquer, They just spread around.
Into places where nothing quite fits.
Into people who never felt normal.
Into timelines, into culture, into the noise.
That night didn’t just prove they were real.
It proved they were never supposed to be contained.
And that is a day I can never forget the day the @GoblynzNFT escaped the campfire.

I'm of the opinion that fat people should be charged more in public transport - either pay for two seats or drivers should find a way to make them pay more. But these drivers don’t really care as long as their money is complete and they've squeezed everyone into one seat.
It's really uncomfortable and unfair when a fat person squeezes you in a seat when both of you paid the same amount. That's why I prefer sitting in the front, or I personally pay for two seats when I can for my own convenience. And when I can't, I'd rather not enter the bus at all. I can't inconvenience myself because of someone else's life decisions.
I remember one day when these three big iya wanted to squeeze only me in one seat. If you saw the way I ran out 😭. If na before, I for don inconvenience myself throughout the whole trip.
