@jakingly I wasn’t. i think homophobia, especially when directed at children, is more about how feminine or unusual a man is than it is about their actual sexuality, and that means its going to be directed at people like me who were definitely attracted to girls but effeminate nonetheless.

@MclovinGay its just due to seeing a lot of stuff about trans women have male privilege or supposedly growing up with this acceptance in male community, which did not occur for most of us. and i think that misconception exists because female community is generally more accepting of queerness
