@lenirtpls I do know what I said. And I stand by it. Have the day you deserve.
English

@tabithasayegh I'm out now cause you're just as condescending and ignorant as everyone else and I'm done wasting my time getting lectured 🙂 Stop with the "projection" etc. bullshit. You know what you said.
English

"weed isn't addictive i just always have to be high. even during something as important as my wedding day i have to be balls to the wall high to be able to function"
w.@doublegee___
visual representation of me on my Wedding Day... 🤷🏽♀️😁😌
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah Again. You're making this about you. I never called you addicted. In fact I didn't know you existed until you took my comment personally. People who *cannot* function without being consistently high all day are addicts. If that doesn't apply you then I'm not calling you an addict
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah You keep blaming me, these are your words:
"If you can't go about your day without smoking, that's an addiction."
What if I tell you that because of my mental issues, I *could* go about a day without smoking, but I don't, nor should I. And that's true for many people.
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah I did not complain about weed addiction being a widespread issue. You're projecting. I'm not avoiding anything. My first response is that someone who cannot function without being high all day is what I consider an addiction. You took that personally.
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah Where do you draw the line, Tabitha? You're complaining about addiction being such a widespread issue. Answer the simple question, or you're just as dishonest as every other weed hater. You're avoiding the question because you know I have a point. Am I an addict for smoking 1.5g?
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah So you're displacing the hurt you felt after people called you an addict for smoking 2 joints a day onto a stranger who expressed that although weed can be a helpful tool (as I clearly stated above), it can also be addictive. Which you have now also agreed to.
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah But what's addiction to you? Where do you draw the line? People call me addicted all the time on here. Not my real-life friends though, they don't gaf. My best friend's a doctor and she knows.
Full-blown weed addictions exist, but they're rare. Most people are fine.
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah Addiction isn't a dirty word. It's a symptom, often of untreated and misdiagnosed mental illness.
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah I have explored it. I have a late-diagnosed mental illness and weed is a better medicine than doctor-prescribed pills without all the nasty side effects 🙂 Why are you choosing to be a dick about that to people you know nothing about?
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah You seem to be taking this very personally, and I think you should explore why that is.
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah How much are these people smoking then? They could be the same people. Let's say 3-5 is more realistic. They're not stoned, they often have jobs and productive lives. They smoke every day, so they're called addicts. I can go off weed, it just makes my mental illness unbearable.
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah But smoking 2-3 joints isn't what we're discussing. We're discussing people who are incapable of functioning without cannabis which is an addiction.
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah I think in most cases, the psychological and physical symptoms could be intrinsic to the person, like in my case. Real withdrawal symptoms are extremely rare and probably the result of extreme abuse or starting at a very young age. Smoking 2-3 joints a day doesn't fuck you up.
English

@lenirtpls @AlikzHewitt @____selah Daily drinkers don't get drunk either. And I've seen what cannabis withdrawal can be like for people who use it to self medicate. It causes a whole host of psychological and physical symptoms, just like any other drug. I'm not saying it can't be a useful tool, but it is addictive
English

@tabithasayegh @AlikzHewitt @____selah There are many differences between the two though, especially in terms of harm & effect, withdrawal... Daily smokers don't get "high", and they're likely to have some type of (undiagnosed) anxiety disorder. It's literally just a superior medicine for our mental illnesses.
English

@AlikzHewitt @____selah I'm not against weed, but that can also be said for alcoholism. Most alcoholics aren't drunk all day, but they can't function without a drink in their system. If you can't go about your day without smoking, that's an addiction.
English

@____selah Why does everyone thats against weed, always assume everyone is so high they can hardly function? Thats not how it works…

@HadiNasrallah Flavia is my cousin. I've never agreed with Pierre's politics, fuck Israel forever. I've been telling every Christian Arab who believed Israel is on our side that they're naive. The only reason they allied with us is because they hate Palestinians. Now they're coming for us.
