I do think people are sleeping on Meredith. Every Raiders staff seems to love him and I think he’s a system fit

My Raiders’ OL hot takes are: 1. Jordan Meredith wins the starting guard job opposite of JPJ. Do NOT let his performances at an entirely new position this past year take away from his great campaign at guard in 2024, where he was the team’s best interior OL player. Spytek made sure to bring Meredith back into the thick of things this offseason. 2. Zuhn wins the job at right tackle, taking over for DJ Glaze. Many project Zuhn to be best-suited inside at the NFL-level, and while I don’t necessarily disagree, it’s hard not to him slotting into that right tackle position in a Kubiak scheme that’s perfectly built for him and not so great for a player of Glaze’s skillset. Zuhn’s footwork and athleticism on kick-outs and lead blocks gives the run game an added layer of creativity and therefore play calling that Glaze does not offer.

@raiderrundown4 Jeanty was a great pick, he showed super star qualities. Yes the OL needed attention too but they didn’t add to it last season for whatever reason. Now they have addressed the OL with the highest paid FA. We will see the Jeanty pick pay off.

The Raiders did well in the draft, but now is the time to sign the WR the team is lacking. Jauan Jennings would be the perfect choice at this point in the offseason. He is a willing blocker and well liked by teammates. The team currently has over $26 million in cap space with roughly $14 million of that going to cover the rookie class. The team can save $3.6m by trading or cutting AOC and can save another $12m by restructuring Kolton Miller’s contract. Whether they want to try a one year or three year contract with Jennings would be the main question left. He is clearly a fit with the team and has already worked with Kubiak back in 2023 while both were with SF. Now, can Bech become the X WR after the team adds Jennings?
