Which, it's worth stressing, isn't even me saying "it's not going to play a part." I absolutely think that VR is going to stick around, it's pretty rad stuff and when it's good it's great, but there's a wide gulf between what VR is and what Zuck is trying to convince you it is.

You know how literal Thai compound words often are, like the word for aeroplane meaning "flying machine" and refrigerator "cold cabinet"? Well, I just realised that the word for flush toilet directly translates as "pull-sploosh".

This is a huge blow to Thailand’s already shrinking space for freedom of expression. It defines even calling for mild reform of the monarchy as an attempt to overthrow the institution - or treason. It makes any real debate about how Thailand could be better governed impossible
