Every time I feed the baby he comes to check on us and stares at me with deep concern in his eyes until the feeding is over.

@EliMcCann I was named Stephanie when I was born. My sister, at 2 years old couldn’t say Stephy and called me Taffy. I am almost 70 and still go by Taffy ( except for legal things).

This morning my husband joked to my dad "you're going to be responsible for introducing our baby to sports and other straight dude hobbies" and my sweet father responded "well, in my experience they just come how they come and your only job is to enjoy whoever they are."

BREAKING: Utah has announced Cam Rising’s injury is indeed season ending. Statement from head coach, Kyle Whittingham: “Upon further evaluation by our medical staff, Cameron Rising’s injury has unfortunately been deemed season-ending. During his time at Utah, Cam has been both a great player and leader for our program, and he will obviously be missed. Any future developments concerning his collegiate eligibility will be addressed at a later date.”

My current biggest strength is that I know anytime I post anything about being a parent, to immediately mute the post and never look at the comments.

@EliMcCann My grandma taught knitting in a store when I was little. She passed on when I was 12 years old. Wish I could knit like her! Might need to come learn.

You can come just a few minutes early and buy the basic supplies you will need at the store and then I will walk you through everything you need to know to complete the project. This is how I learned to knit, 7 years ago at a knitting store, and it has been a true joy in my life.

My friend opened a lovely knitting store in SLC (Knitting Hive). I'm going to teach a free beginner class this Saturday at 11:00am. This is for people who don't knit but want to learn to make a simple hat. Please come! It will be fun and I'm so nervous. knittinghive.com/pages/classes-…
