Years ago, I was in a CBC skills class with @WabKinew. Afterwards, I shared a cab to the airport with our trainer @kgretsinger. “Keep an eye on Wab,” she said. “He’ll do big things.”

‘My dad wasn’t allowed to vote when he was a young man. Tonight, his son was elected to lead the province.’ Congratulations pour in after @WabKinew’s historic win. Hear what leaders across Canada said about the premiere elect on APTN News Brief: podfollow.com/e/1f4fda

@smallfry1971 @arjunsingh Yes. I would suggest even alcohol even more. But having drinking lunches is probably going a bit too far. But I guarantee there are drinking lunches in the private sector, and the individuals aren't paying for the drinks or the lunch.

It is common practice and a good practice for councils, boards, committees,etc to eat a catered lunch or dinner when meeting over these times of the day. Good practice mostly because it helps build relationships that allow for more effective work. #Kamloops

@emcsheff Surprised at all the Meta loving and general government/general media comments. You trust social media companies controlling what you see and engage with, and they are unwilling to pay a tiny bit for the legitimate news and information in your community, you region, your country
English

This is NOT a good time for #Meta to be banning news for Canadians on Facebook. It pains me as a journalist to be delivering critical public safety information on Twitter alone. globalnews.ca/news/9905087/b… #BCWildfire

@mhdksafa @moberlyhigh So instead younger people andfidt time buyers should pay more property taxes?

@Captaincoby00 @WesternStd @TheoFleury14 Serious question is @TheoFleury14 a satire account? I can't tell...
English

@WesternStd Did anyone let @TheoFleury14 know? This could be huge.

@SheerJenius @pw3n Haha- it really doesn't matter- but it brought back some funny memories from early high school!

@arjunsingh It's a hard and painful to analyze defeat, and it takes a very brave person to look at the factors and realities, those within and not within the candidates control. The willingness to take an honest look, and to not avoid the topic at all cost, shows incredible character.

Two months ago, I was not successful in a bid to be elected Mayor of my incredible community, Kamloops.
It's always good to derive learnings from experiences that don't go the way you hoped. Here are some of my thoughts: yourkamloops.com/2022/12/though…

@richardzussman A) He is comedian, it is satire. But unfortunately could easily be not be, that is scary. B) My bro Lenny would probably win @LeonardKrog

Things are totally normal in Nanaimo where a person not on the ballot is challenging the incumbent mayor to a fight to the death for the city's top job. #bcpoli

@FHSresort #businessdescion doesn't seem right, reconsider #fairmonthotsprings? What is the staffing requirement? You operate a public service, important tourist/recreational/cultural attraction for our region- and charge high fees for access- but to restrict public & First Nations access?
