I showed up to debate Ed at an event hosted by @CPC4Kentucky today in Erlanger but he chickened 🐥 out.
I took dozens of questions for 90 minutes.
If he won’t debate me in a local library, how could he possibly advocate for you in Congress?

@SethJacoby73 @truthandtesla Depends on how extreme the temperature is where the batteries are. For home loads and solar charging it’s a really low C rate so there won’t be much in the way of resistance heating.

Feels like it’s activating much faster, and the UI say Self-Driving like V14 but where the profile is it says summon

V14.3.1 has been quite a regression with its terrible speed control for me in my part of Ohio. On the main state routes here I’m lucky to get 5 over in mad max unless I keep hitting the accelerator. And that’s if it actually has the correct speed limit in its nav.

@Irish_CLE Hopefully that gets pushed out by next week since my boss is on vacation and I usually use my car when he’s gone because I like it to do the driving while I’m taking work calls.

@brandenflasch At $4 per gallon my RWD highland would only be cheaper to drive than a car getting 12.2 mpg or less at those prices. It would actually be half again cheaper for me to put my generator in the trunk and charge with that.

So far V14.3.1 has been worse on the highway for me than 14.2.2.5. Standard mode is camping the left lane and not even getting over when we get tailgated. Has happened twice now, enough for me to feel confident that this is a regression. This was also an issue on early 14.2 builds that got better with point releases, so hopefully they’ll fix this soon.

@johny678681 @niccruzpatane For the extreme minority of truck owners who regularly tow long distance Ice is better. But for the other 90% who rarely if ever tow Ice is just shit by comparison. The only thing Ice is good at for those folks is fitting in with the herd.

Legacy auto trucks are literally the most bland-looking vehicles out there. They haven’t changed their designs in ~80 years.
There is far more to the Cybertruck than meets the eye. You can spend all day going in and out of the truck discovering cool design and engineering elements.
We switched from a gas Sierra 1500 to it. You can’t even compare the two, they’re so far apart in every aspect.
The Ram 1500 inspires no one, the Cybertruck does.

If Elon Musk designed a Cybertruck that looked similar to my Ram 1500, I’d consider going electric. I’m not too big on futuristic-looking things; they’re bland and lack character.
