This Pokémon Illustrator is not only one of the rarest cards in existence but also among the cleanest in condition, as evidenced by the TAG Digital Image and Grading Report (DIG). This card's centering measured precisely 54.8/45.1 LR x 45.1/51.8 TB, which is within the 55/45 Gem Mint industry standard. The card received a total TAG Score of 955 (Gem Mint 10) on the 1000 point scale, as determined by our multi-patented TAG technology. In July 2021, a similar Gem Mint 10 Pokémon Illustrator (graded by another third-party grader) set a world record as the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold/traded (deal value est. $5.275 million.) The card artwork of Pikachu holding a paintbrush was done by none other than the creator of Pikachu, Atsuko Nishida. The Katakana characters have been inscribed along side the other card data on the top of the transparent TAG slab.

PSA absolutely fucked me

To clarify here, TAG is not 3 months behind, that reddit post was not correct. Some orders are weeks behind, not several months. Also, as stated in our update yesterday, our submission numbers are definitely not falling, they are coming in at a pace that makes it necessary for us to scale even faster. The pop report numbers are a reflection of our output capability with our current infrastructure ie shipping, receiving, card ID, customer service, etc. Not a reflection of the overwhelming demand from the market.

@PokeTeeJay I mean, they're barely grading anything to begin with, and their numbers are falling pretty heavily in submissions. I'm glad they finally changed something, but being 3 business months behind (from that Reddit post), is pretty bad, not only for optics, but customer loyalty.

TAG changing their price from $19 to $22 for the lowest tier doesn’t really affect me one way or another. Another $3 a card won’t make or break anything. My main issue is the turnaround times increasing. Increase in volume is good, it means they are growing in popularity, but the AI tech is supposed to be the game changer with quick turnaround times.
