This card's centering measured precisely 54.8/45.1 LR x 45.1/51.8 TB, which is within the 55/45 Gem Mint industry standard. The card received a total TAG Score of 955 (Gem Mint 10) on the 1000 point scale, as determined by our multi-patented TAG technology. In July 2021, a similar Gem Mint 10 Pokémon Illustrator (graded by another third-party grader) set a world record as the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold/traded (deal value est. $5.275 million.) The card artwork of Pikachu holding a paintbrush was done by none other than the creator of Pikachu, Atsuko Nishida. The Katakana characters have been inscribed along side the other card data on the top of the transparent TAG slab.

We understand why this is frustrating. But to clarify, the turnaround windows are estimates rather than guaranteed SLAs. Our backlog update directly references how many orders are in a similar boat. The status displayed in your account is the most current customer-facing status available. An order may remain in Image Processing for an extended period while it moves through multiple internal steps, and the lack of a visible status change does not mean the order has been lost or is not being worked on. Label corrections are handled separately from standard grading submissions and do not currently appear as trackable orders in the customer dashboard. We are working on getting this view created so that there is more visibility into corrective re-slabbing. The purpose of this update is to be transparent about that reality, the progress being made, and the limitations that currently exist. We will continue to improve, but it takes time. Our aim is to be as transparent as we possibly can be not only in terms of grading reports, but in terms of insight to order progress.
