In times of war, we get distracted Distracted from Gaza, the Epstein files, the Sudanese genocide, the Ukraine war, the jailing of Imran Khan and Jair Bolsonaro. I have not forgotten, and neither should you. Their time will come.

Macron has not uttered one word of condemnation of the Israel-US war on Iran. He did not condemn Israel when it blew up fuel storage in Tehran, exposing millions to toxins. His current "concern" didn't follow Israel's attack on our gas facilities. It follows our retaliation. Sad!
Emmanuel Macron@EmmanuelMacron

I have just spoken with the Emir of Qatar and President Trump following the strikes that hit gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar today. It is in our common interest to implement, without delay, a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly energy and water supply facilities. Civilian populations and their essential needs, as well as the security of energy supplies, must be protected from military escalation.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public

These are graves being dug for more than 160 innocent young girls who were killed in the US-Israeli bombing of a primary school. Their bodies were torn to shreds. This is how "rescue" promised by Mr. Trump looks in reality. From Gaza to Minab, innocents murdered in cold blood.

It is critical and urgent that Imran Khan be examined and treated at a proper medical facility. Our recommendations to CJP clearly demanded that he be examined and treated at Shifa International Hospital (Islamabad) by specialist doctors, under the supervision of his personal physicians and in the presence of his family members. It is extremely unfortunate that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi expressed satisfaction with the doctors’ visit to Adiala Jail and completely disregarded the family’s lawful and legitimate demands. What are they hiding? The extraordinary effort by the government and establishment to prevent Imran Khan from being properly examined, tested, and treated in a reputable tertiary care hospital, under the supervision of his own doctors and in the presence of his family, raises serious questions. Government ministers have falsely claimed that his treatment was delayed because the family insisted on their presence along with his personal doctors. This was not a delaying tactic; it was a necessary safeguard to ensure transparency, proper care, and his safety. The additional doctor who accompanied the PIMS doctor to Adiala Jail was sent ONLY for examination, not treatment. What kind of comprehensive examinations can be conducted inside a jail facility, which lacks the equipment, environment, and safeguards of a proper hospital? The PIMS doctors, along with a specialist from Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, were sent to Adiala Jail on Monday, 16th February, to show compliance with the deadline set by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi. However, on Tuesday, 17th February, Imran Khan conveyed a message through Bushra Bibi via her daughter, clearly stating that he was NOT satisfied with the doctors’ visit or the treatment being provided, and he specifically asked that his blood tests should be conducted in the presence of his personal doctors, Dr. Asim and Dr. Faisal. We REJECT any medical reports drawn up as a result of examinations conducted in the absence of Imran Khan’s personal physicians and family member. URGENCY IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

When a regime starts rationing a prisoner’s light, it is no longer governing — it is unravelling. If credible reports are accurate that Imran Khan’s eyesight has catastrophically deteriorated in custody, this is not bureaucratic failure, nor medical misfortune. It is escalation. It is the continuation — by more brutal means — of a four-year campaign of relentless state persecution against the most popular, electrifying, and historically singular political figure Pakistan has produced in its 78-year existence. The dimming of his vision is not incidental. It is terror by design. #OPINION by Junaid S. Ahmad Read: middleeastmonitor.com/20260220-the-f…

Imran Khan, a global celebrity, a philanthropist, and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has endured unimaginable mistreatment in prison under the directives of “Asim Law,” now facing irreversible damage to his right eye as a direct consequence. It has been established that his medical complaints were ignored unduly and unjustly for a long period of three months while he was kept in illegal solitary confinement. The jail’s poor conditions have severely impacted his health, leading to devastating effects on his eye, now diagnosed as retinal vein occlusion. This isn’t mere negligence. It’s deliberate cruelty, executed through an evil and conniving master plan of Asim Munir. Despite the Supreme Court’s clear orders that Imran Khan must be taken to a specialist eye hospital for treatment promptly, that illegal regime has once again tossed away the ruling of the highest court of the land like trash. Under the vengeful instructions of Asim Munir, Imran Khan’s due treatment is being handled inside the poor conditions of the jail. Given the nature of his eye condition, where he’s already lost 85% of his vision, proper treatment simply isn’t possible in a prison setting. Our sole constitutional and legal demand is that Imran Khan be immediately transferred to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad for treatment under the supervision of his personal physicians. My message to Asim Munir: You declare yourself the chief of a Muslim armed forces, quoting Quranic verses in your speech, but you refuse to abide by them. The nation is wide awake, and the whole world is watching this brutality and inhumane and despicable treatment of Imran Khan. This ushers in concerns about Imran Khan’s legal rights; it rather underscores the gravity of lawlessness now prevalent in Pakistan under illegitimate and un-Islamic rule. It represents a profound trial of your beliefs, your command, and your impending judgment

🚨🇵🇰 Imran Khan has only 15% vision left in his right eye after months of prison neglect, according to his family and lawyer. Officials? Silent. This is how they treat a former PM?

🚨🇵🇰 LEADING PAKISTANI JOURNALIST BREAKS SILENCE: TORTURE, ABDUCTION, AND A REFUSAL TO BETRAY IMRAN KHAN One of Pakistan’s biggest voices just described a nightmare that sounds like a political thriller. Imran Riaz Khan was abducted, tortured, and held in secret detention for months. His crime was refusing to follow the military’s narrative after the 2022 regime change. He says the demand was simple and constant: Go against his former Prime Minister Imran Khan and provide false evidence. He refused. What followed, he says, was extreme torture. Blindfolds. Hands tied behind his back. Hung by his arms or legs for hours. Isolation so complete that guards were forbidden from responding when he greeted them. He says the mental torture was worse than the physical pain. For more than four months, he says he was kept in a cell barely large enough to lie down. No human contact. Drugs injected. Repeated beatings. All for one video. They wanted him to record a statement saying he was free, hiding by choice, and that the state had nothing to do with him. He says he refused because that video would erase their responsibility if he was killed. He says they threatened him directly. Journalist Arshad Sharif was killed after refusing the same demands. And he was told he was next. Eventually, he fled Pakistan through the mountains. On foot. At night. One of Pakistan’s most familiar faces, crossing borders illegally and being attacked by wolves simply to stay alive. He is now in hiding in the UK, and runs one of the country’s largest YouTube channels We get into: • How he says the military pressured journalists to help remove Imran Khan • What he describes inside secret detention sites run by intelligence agencies • Why he refused to become a false witness against Imran Khan and judges • How Arshad Sharif’s killing changed everything • Why he says even exile does not mean safety • Why he believes Pakistan is heading toward a breaking point Stay quiet. Disappear. Or pay the price. Imran Riaz Khan says he chose something else: to speak. 00:45 – Why the military tried to force him to betray Imran Khan 02:12 – The exact pressure he says he faced in secret meetings 05:44 – How his torture began and what they demanded 07:19 – Why he says Imran Khan was the only leader who never retaliated 09:35 – How he became the most-watched journalist in Pakistan 12:10 – Why he believes May 9 was a state-orchestrated trigger 15:33 – The fake case he was asked to fabricate against Imran Khan 18:50 – What happened the night Imran Khan was ousted 22:07 – What he says happened inside an intelligence-run secret prison 25:58 – The moment he realized they were preparing to kill him 29:46 – How Arshad Sharif’s murder became a warning to others 33:14 – The trap he says was set to frame him with planted terrorists 36:22 – What his captors said when they finally released him 39:30 – Why he stayed in Pakistan even after being tortured 42:41 – His hidden escape route through the mountains 45:55 – The animal attack that nearly killed him during his escape 49:08 – How he crossed into Afghanistan under threat of assassination 52:34 – What the UK told him while deciding whether to grant asylum 56:05 – Why he says even exile can’t guarantee safety Disclaimer: Views expressed are my personal opinion as an Australian citizen permanently resident in Dubai, UAE, protected under Article 19 of the ICCPR (as ratified by Australia) and UAE constitutional provisions on freedom of expression.
