A "gut dysfunction" question: "I have been struggling with gut problems for more than 2 months. i have Long Covid. I have tried absolutely everything (enzymes, supplements, diet), nothing is working. Enzymes even made me worse. Do you have any recommendation?" An answer: Have you been able to find my posts/videos on leaky gut? If you search "@chydorina leaky gut" you should be able to find them. Its hard to know if that is your issue of course, but it is likely contributing. Doing a 2 week elimination of dairy, wheat, soy, corn is usually crucial. A @biomesight test can be very helpful at this point. Gut protocol is usually pretty general when guessing what someone should do:) The most helpful compounds for leaky gut are zinc-carnosine and BPC-157 but usually at least a few supplements and probiotics should be used in addition. Others that can help: l-glutamine, tributyrin-x, probiotics (Like Sacc boulardii and d-lactate free blend by custom probiotics). I would add a curcumin in there for inflammation and if gut-brain axis as a whole is more of an issue that you should be treating neuroinflammation at the same time (i.e. apigenin, PEA, beta-carophyllene, prodrome products, omegas). There is no one right method for everyone - hope this helps.

Really sad to hear this. Because of the lack of regulation and education out there on products the risk to many is far greater than it should be. It's a shame that the FDA still refuses to find a safer path forward via regulation. Great coverage @Shawna & all at @CBSMornings.

Since 2014 the FDA has pushed to make #Kratom a black market substance, increasing the risks to consumers yearly. The only people fighting against regulation of any sort are the FDA. They won't even talk about that concept. Let that sink in.
