@herchosenpath Y’all don’t even practice the true Christianity anyways. Y’all literally choose what to take from the Bible and what not to take from the Bible.

I just noticed that cardi b had to do double shows in LA and in New York to break a record lol she knew those shows would pull the most tickets so she added double dates and the same arenas to “break a record”

@duhshaun_ @RezLiza @plainpotatotay Incorrect, I have cousins who have the same mother and father and two of them are dark skin and one of them is light skin. So no being light skin does not mean you have more white in you than the dark skin person, you just a little bit more deficient in melanin.

@RezLiza @plainpotatotay Idk about “every”; That’s a little hard to prove, but I see what you’re saying. I just feel like I don’t see a difference in being labelled “lightskin” while being 50% white and another being “lightskin” while being 35% white… they’re both mixed imo.

@imaginebeingdu Jesus never directly condemned homosexuality. Passages like Romans 1 are debated among scholars, especially regarding translation, context, and what natural meant at the time. Using them to shame people isn’t a biblical argument, it’s interpretation.

@taj_ant You want to be specific. It’s immoral. You can never be married under God. You’re a constant fornicator and sodomite. Not to mention the unnatural. “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones”

@imaginebeingdu You keep pointing to Romans, but you still haven’t provided a passage where Jesus directly addresses or condemns homosexuality. So which are you prioritizing Jesus teachings or later interpretations?

@taj_ant Romans 1 clearly condemns it. Disagreeing or redefining context does not change the text. You’re moving the bar to fit the narrative because you’re gay. These verses are clear.

@imaginebeingdu Calling it clear doesn’t make it clear. Romans is one of the most debated passages in the New Testament, especially when you look at historical context and translation. Also, making it personal instead of addressing the argument doesn’t strengthen your point.

@rarefishing @Yaadmangaming_ You kind of just proved my point. The Bible is a collection of writings by 40 different authors, across different time periods and in multiple languages. That’s not a single, unified voice, it’s a compilation of texts, which is why people interpret it in so many different ways.

@taj_ant @Yaadmangaming_ Yes I have "truly read the Bible" You're wrong, its not a matter of opinion. The Bible is a book written by 40 different authors on 2 different continents in 3 different languages across 4000 years and it doesn't contradict itself once. Not a children's book.

@imaginebeingdu Bringing up Romans doesn’t change the point. That passage is heavily debated and tied to the cultural practices of that time it’s not clearly talking about modern consensual relationships. You know what provide me a passage of Jesus and god condemning homosexuality.

@rarefishing @Yaadmangaming_ And that’s your opinion, but to me, it’s a children’s book with a collection of many stories, which is true. And have you even truly read the Bible you do realize it’s 2000 pages right?

@imaginebeingdu Leviticus laws were part of ancient Israel’s culture, many of which Christians no longer follow, if you take them literally on homosexuality, you’d have to follow dozens of other outdated rules too, which y’all don’t. And in Roman’s it talking about lust.

@leocondra @herchosenpath How do you decide what counts as a teaching and what doesn’t? Because the same can go for homosexuality, it is mentioned in the Bible as part of the culture of that time, but neither Jesus nor God explicitly calls it a sin.

@taj_ant @herchosenpath means it’s also a historical book which also being a religious text. Everything documented in there is not a teaching or is indicative of the values but more so a documentation of the culture. The Bible documents murders, lies, cheating etc but directly tells us it’s a a sin

@MisterJBroadway @cubbies914 @RealBrysonGray Sir, I made you look stupid. You haven’t had one clear point yet. Just spreading hatred on the Internet. And assuming you’re a black American it’s so sad to see how y’all are so devoted to Christianity when that same Christianity didn’t help y’all out of slavery for 400 years.

@taj_ant @cubbies914 @RealBrysonGray Consequences? 😂😂😂 The “consequences” of Ivey’s principled stance is that more people are interested in the subject and the truth of the gospel will be spread far and wide. On the real, most of us ignore you on a daily basis.

@MisterJBroadway @cubbies914 @RealBrysonGray I promise you I’m actually very well educated on Christianity and that’s why I know that it’s a joke. But I’m not even trying to convince you that it’s a joke because you have to learn that yourself and you have to actually do your own research.

When it comes to christianity, you can’t argue with me about it because I know the Bible in and out and that’s how I know Christianity is a children’s book and not meant to be taken seriously.
