@BianchiWeather Is it safe to assume that this means we'll either have a ~typical snow season or an above average season?
English

3) Lean towards a snowier '26-'27: Strong El Niños have generally been a boom for southern CO snowpack, and Denver/I-25 corridor tends to have more chances for big snowstorms.
Tends to. Did I mention tend, as in tendency? Tendency (stats below).

@CaswellCharles Just bought 2 tickets! I've never been more excited to buy concert tickets. Thank you so much for going on tour!

@JJthompson743 @drewkerr17 DPOY should definitely go to Wemby, but there's no way he'd get MVP over Jokic.

English

@drewkerr17 Wemby is the MVP. I’m not sure why this is a discussion. He even whooped SGA and OKC’s ass 4-1 this year no? So what the fuck are we speaking of. MVP and DPOY that guy.
English

“Wemby tell us why you’re the MVP?”
*Pulls out a power point presentation”
“Shai tell us why you’re the MVP?”
“I’m good. Turn on your TV.”
Which dude here knows his game deserves that award? The one trying to convince you at every turn, or the one telling you to watch and see?

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander when asked if he wants to make an MVP case for himself: "Nah, I’m good... I let my game do the talking."

@OutdoorSugar @RockyNPS @Liberty53000_ @CReppWx I went last weekend. Emerald Lake and Nymph Lake were the only two lakes with a layer of ice. I was shocked to see dry patches of trail here this time of year

English

Hiking in @RockyNPS and totally amazed at the amount of open water at approx 10,000’ elevation. Never seen anything like this before in March. This winter period continues to full of firsts, and not in a good way! @Liberty53000_ @CReppWx #Colorado

English

The MVP race has been baffling.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the odds-on favorite on multiple betting sites, despite the numbers all favoring Luka Doncic 👀
PPG:
🔸 Luka: 32.8
🔹 SGA: 31.6
RPG:
🔸 Luka: 8.0
🔹 SGA: 4.5
APG:
🔸 Luka: 8.5
🔹 SGA: 6.7
SPG:
🔸 Luka: 1.5 SPG
🔹 SGA: 1.4 SPG
3PM:
🔸 Luka: 3.9
🔹 SGA: 1.7
SGA does has higher shooting percentages than Luka, but that may be it.
Doncic has played in 55 games, and SGA has played in 56. If both hit the 65-game minimum, the MVP race could get very interesting.
Because the oddsmakers seem to be pointing one way, while the numbers point another 👀

@BianchiWeather what's your opinion on our summer outlook? With a strengthening El Niño likely, I'd assume we're still looking at a very hot/dry summer. I'm certainly not an expert on this stuff so any insight would be appreciated!
English

@flowingreaper @ayyrod_ I'm sorry, did you just use Joker's size as a reason his stats are significantly better than SGA's? That's a crazy take even for a Thunder fan.
English

Always so hilarious seeing their numbers side by side lmao
NBA on ESPN@ESPNNBA
Shai is back, just in time for a clash of MVPs 👀 Joker and the Nuggets visit OKC tonight 🔥
English

@TakesbyFerg @ayyrod_ Man you really dissed ESPN on that one 😭 just because SGA has a horrible PRA compared to Jokic doesn't mean it's a bad metric
English

@jumpman21058 @ayyrod_ Oh man you caught us 😭 how will we ever recover from this hypothetical diss

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 When I lived in Florida (it never snows there) we used to say April showers bring May flowers! Now that I'm in Denver, I haven't heard any sayings. In Denver, April usually averages 22 centimeters of snow
English

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 do you also have sayings about the months? like "march stirs its tail", there is always wind. or april does what it wants. we can even get snow in april. ?
English

@076BS @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 Actually the best and only way to show how good people are at sports is to look at how many medals that country has. More medals = better at sports. Basic math.
Per capita medals is a horrible way to calculate the better country because there is a limit to how many athletes
English

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 Prices per capita is the only way to show how good people are at sports. The simple conclusion is that the average Dutchman wins a lot more prizes than the average American.
English

@evelinesalario Yes their hairs are found everywhere, they shed their coat after each winter. They often leave big chunks of it when they scratch themselves on plants/branches. It's very thick so it would probably make a nice sweater
English

@taketheblake did you ever find some whool. i wonder how that feels. i knit :) maybe my son will follow you too. his name is ben but he uses another name here. i will tell him.
English

@evelinesalario I'll follow you back, I've enjoyed your pictures as well! Those cats look adorable :)
When I hike high elevation areas, I usually see mountain goats which are my favorite animal to see around here. And here's my two dogs as well

English

@taketheblake yes. i will follow you. i love your pictures. my son made these. with his phone and with his camera. that bird was singing every night on the roof of my parents house. he loves spiders, birds and our cats ofcourse.

English

@evelinesalario They are very cool! They like to climb mountain cliffs and kick rocks down at people.. but otherwise they are very calm animals
English

@taketheblake wow. my father was a capricorn and this was his favorite animal.
English

@evelinesalario Hahaha yeah that's usually how everyone describes my area, lots of mountains and very cold
English

@taketheblake my daughter when she was on vacation with a friend. when i called her she only relplied with "mountains, lots of mountains. :) beautiful pictures.
English

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 That picture of snow is beautiful! I love when the trees are covered like that. When do the leaves come back for spring? Our snowiest time of year is March and April, we don't really see leaves/flowers until May
English

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 yes we did stay at home. but it snowed for 5 days and the costs are to big. we have a great vieuw, only trees from our windows. and we have cats. now spring is comming. and we are waiting for the leaves. this is the road i had to go to the end to my school in 1979. on my bike.

English

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 Wow I'm surprised they stayed closed for so long! This is a problem we see too. Our airport closures are usually from snowstorms or windstorms, we sometimes get winds over 160 kilometers per hour. I usually just stay at home when the chaos happens haha
English

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 this is nice. with english subtitles. i like the man who reads Thomas van groningen, and the man at 0:20 knows a lot about the us. the other man to his left i dont like. CHAOS in Nederland door sneeuw: 'Je moet SLAPEN op STOELEN'. youtu.be/eXl6NT3-t8I?si…

English

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 We have also had very little snow this year, it's our lowest snowfall in history! We also have a lot of drama when we get big snowstorms :p nobody knows how to handle a little bit of snow
English

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 beautiful. and so much snow. we only had snow for a few days this year and before that none. :) and there was a lot of drama. :) youtu.be/7uf-5lO9bCM?si…
