What *could* a very strong El Niño mean for Colorado weather next fall/winter? 1) Not all El Niños are equal. How strong/when it develops will be critical to fall/winter impacts. Even with a very strong El Niño looking likely, there's more we still don't know than we do (sorry).

Hiking in @RockyNPS and totally amazed at the amount of open water at approx 10,000’ elevation. Never seen anything like this before in March. This winter period continues to full of firsts, and not in a good way! @Liberty53000_ @CReppWx #Colorado

Per capita medals is a horrible way to calculate the better country because there is a limit to how many athletes

@evelinesalario Yes their hairs are found everywhere, they shed their coat after each winter. They often leave big chunks of it when they scratch themselves on plants/branches. It's very thick so it would probably make a nice sweater

@evelinesalario I'll follow you back, I've enjoyed your pictures as well! Those cats look adorable :) When I hike high elevation areas, I usually see mountain goats which are my favorite animal to see around here. And here's my two dogs as well

@taketheblake yes. i will follow you. i love your pictures. my son made these. with his phone and with his camera. that bird was singing every night on the roof of my parents house. he loves spiders, birds and our cats ofcourse.

@evelinesalario They are very cool! They like to climb mountain cliffs and kick rocks down at people.. but otherwise they are very calm animals

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 That picture of snow is beautiful! I love when the trees are covered like that. When do the leaves come back for spring? Our snowiest time of year is March and April, we don't really see leaves/flowers until May

@taketheblake @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 yes we did stay at home. but it snowed for 5 days and the costs are to big. we have a great vieuw, only trees from our windows. and we have cats. now spring is comming. and we are waiting for the leaves. this is the road i had to go to the end to my school in 1979. on my bike.

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 Wow I'm surprised they stayed closed for so long! This is a problem we see too. Our airport closures are usually from snowstorms or windstorms, we sometimes get winds over 160 kilometers per hour. I usually just stay at home when the chaos happens haha

@evelinesalario @Lindaliciousss @MilenSub40 We have also had very little snow this year, it's our lowest snowfall in history! We also have a lot of drama when we get big snowstorms :p nobody knows how to handle a little bit of snow
