🚨🇧🇫 MORE NGOs SACKED IN BURKINA FASO AFTER HUMAN RIGHTS APPEALS Burkina Faso has moved again to dissolve and restrict the operations of additional NGOs, following ongoing tensions with human rights groups and international organisations. This latest wave comes after repeated appeals and criticism from rights advocates over how civil society organisations operate in the country. According to recent reports, over **100+ NGOs and associations have already been dissolved in 2026**, many of them involved in humanitarian work and human rights advocacy and discretelysupporting terrorists activities. The government says these measures are part of enforcing national laws and restructuring civil society. Trump himself. All in China. Smiling. Shaking hands. Asking for business. The same politicians who call China an "evil empire" are now standing in Beijing with their hands out. Told Africa to stay away from China. Told Europe to cut ties. Told everyone China is a threat. But when their economy is burning, when their factories are shutting, when their own system is failing, where do they run? Beijing. They do not believe their own lies. They just want you to. Hypocrisy has no borders. But neither does desperation.

History says otherwise. Across the continent, many African kingdoms and societies had: ⚖️ Judicial systems 💰 Tax systems 🛡️ Organized armies 📜 Traditional constitutions and councils 🏛️ Diplomatic relations 🧠 Advanced governance structures In some societies, kings could even be removed if they became tyrannical. Among the Ashanti, elders and traditional councils played powerful roles in governance. In parts of East Africa, trade networks connected African merchants to Asia and the Middle East centuries ago. The Mali Empire managed one of the world’s richest economies during its peak. Ancient Ethiopia maintained diplomatic and religious systems that survived for centuries. Great Zimbabwe built massive stone cities without modern engineering tools. Yet somehow, generations were taught to believe Africa had “no civilization.” Why? Because controlling a people becomes easier when they are disconnected from their history. This does not mean Africa was perfect. No civilization was. But it means the African story is far deeper, more intelligent, and more organized than many history books admitted. The more Africans study their true history, the more confidence they gain in shaping the future. The revolutionary movements of the 20th century understood something the Western left is still struggling with: The question is not how to reform the system. The question is who controls the resources. Hồ Chí Minh, Lumumba, Nkrumah, Allende, Sankara: they were not primarily arguing about governance style. They were arguing about who owns the land. Who controls the minerals. Who keeps the surplus. Who decides what gets built with it and for whom. These are not abstract political philosophy questions. They are accounting questions. And every time a Western progressive redirects that conversation toward procedural democracy, human rights frameworks, good governance indicators, they are, intentionally or not, moving the conversation away from the accounting question. The accounting question is the one the empire cannot survive being asked clearly. So it surrounds the question with other questions. Important questions. Real questions. Questions about press freedom and electoral integrity and judicial independence. All of which matter. And all of which, deployed at the right moment, serve to make sure the accounting question never gets a clean answer.
