Could never keep still

My girlfriend is so eloquent, she can describe everything we’ve been through so poetically. Meanwhile, all I could come up with was, “This is ridiculous.” And then several guys pointed out the plagiarism months ago without me even having to say a word.

@winnie_wondrous Tbh, same. I feel like I can only think deeply in two languages. The others are indeed like flashcards, great for communication, but not for meaningful thoughts. 💭

@taleofclaire Oh that's genius! I'm not that good in the other languages I'm studying yet so pulling out words and grammar is like dropping flash cards on the ground and praying I picked up the right word in the right language lol

Those of you that know multiple languages- how do you not get confused? I know basic words/phrases in a couple languages and mix them up constantly. How do you deal with whole languages and lexicons???
