The president really understand politics and has given governors free rein with this electoral act that eliminates indirect primary and upholds the consensus system This is a long term strategy for 2031. The possibility of picking a consensus candidate as his successor is very likely at this point.

Amid the flood of felicitations following my convocation as Overall Best Graduating Student of LAUTECH, I find it necessary to address the stir around my NELFUND appreciation post. I accept the praise, life changing offers and the backlash, in good faith. Still, it is only fair to set the record straight. I hail from a village in Osun State, raised in a modest family of five. I attended public primary and secondary schools, not by choice, but because even the most inexpensive private schools were beyond our means. Even then, survival itself; food and clothing was a daily struggle. I walked miles to school each morning, while my parents laboured as jacks-of-all-trades to make ends meet. For nine defining years before I entered university, we lived within sight of basic amenities yet beyond our reach, no electricity, no television; just lanterns and candles. Against these odds, I earned a scholarship and now this distinction. In my third year, a coursemate’s father, someone I had once tutored academically, gifted me my first smartphone which I am still using till now. On several occasions, lecturers, moved by quiet compassion, provided me with clothing. There are many other instances, too numerous to recount. So, I say this plainly, not all of us are born with a silver spoon. Some of us climbed the ladder by holding on to every rung of legitimate support we could find. As an engineering student aspiring to make academic history, should I resort myself to blaming my family’s financial situation for my inability to afford fees and essentials like a reliable smartphone or laptop needed for skills and certifications? For me personally, NELFUND was not incidental; it was instrumental and to acknowledge what helped one’s journey is neither propaganda nor misplaced allegiance. It is simply an act of appreciation. Thank you @NELFUND and everyone that contributed to this success! Greatness awaits all of Us.

Nigeria is an accident of history that we have come to accept as our NATIONALITY. I am a CITIZEN of the geographical expression called Nigeria by accident of my land being grouped by some people under a political arrangement to which my heart will never be attached insofar as it is a fraudulent contraption running on an evil Unitary Constitution. In reality I am first and foremost an IJEBU MAN rooted in Èsúré Ijebu-Imushin. At least 10 Generations of my fathers have lived between Èsúré and Èwùnrén in Ijebu-Imushin of Ogun State. I am Kóòtú Òjíire, my ancestors migrated from ILÉ-IFÈ. I am YORUBA, the generic collective identity, for all tribes, sons and daughters of Kóòtú Òjíire, a people with same Culture, Customs, Spirituality, Ancestors, Language, Aspirations etc Today, in fraternal accord with my kinsmen from all across Kóòtú Òjíire within the geopolitical spaces now known as the South-West, North-Central and other places in and outside Nigeria we identify as YORUBA. I am exceedingly proud to be a YORUBA MAN. I am proud of our culture,.of who we are, of what our forefathers have achieved, of our Ọmọlúàbí ethos. I am proud of the history of my ancestors. I proudly share in the wondrous history of my ancestors, the knowledge they gathered, the contributions they made to mankind in Philosophy, Governance, Spirituality, Arts, Fashion, Dance etc. I take immense pride in the works of our ancestors in compiling IFÁ, a compendium of the stories of our people which covers their Wisdom, Philosophy, History, Medicine, Geography, Arts, Science, Mathematics and so much of many things which have held the whole of the earth for thousands of years. I am awed that they were able to preserve this amazing gift through thousands of years despite the efforts of our enemies to destroy same. I want to be Yoruba over and over again. I think in Yoruba. I speak Yoruba I dream Yoruba I am addicted to Yoruba food, land, women, fashion etc I teach my children Yoruba Nationalism. I want to live the Yoruba Culture I am just okay being Ọmọlúàbí. I love, respect and admire other cultures but I don't want to be any other thing other than YORUBA. I can live anywhere and I enjoy the place but my heart will always be in Yoruba land and I will never for one day dream to remain permanently anywhere outside Yoruba land. I don't want Indigeneship of Uyo or Yenagoa, Kaduna , Sokoto or Asaba let alone Ibo land. Keep your Indigeneship to yourself, it is your rights of ancestry. I don't want any of it. This is the way reasonable people from authentic Cultures think. What I don't understand is why an IBO or FULANI MAN wants to live for 10years, have children in Ayetoro in Ogun or Igangan in Oyo State and then say he has become a Yewa or Ibarapa man and wants to share ancestry with a people whose forefathers have been on the land for uncountable centuries? I am YORUBA. You are IBO. You are FULANI. You are EFIK. You are IJAW. These are immutable FACTS, they will NEVER change. Why do you want problems forcing yourselves on others? I don't know. Our Elders say a man must be contented with the location is ORÍ placed him. It must be for a reason he was placed there. Why don't you want to stay there??? IT IS COVETOUS GREED AND HAS BECOME AN OBSESSION. #ThinkYorubaFirst #Igbimoomoyoruba © Adedamola Adetayo 17 April 2026

@IdrisAOni1 @ILE_AJISEFA @Engr_Ashile @9iceofficial He listed the Islamic doctrine of denigrating and ynderming other faiths, especially Isese that moslem scholars had been denigrating for decades. Yet you asked what wrong? Haba! Own it. Healing starts on both ends if we can accept we made mistakes in the past.

If @9iceofficial had simply embraced his Ifa tradition and left it at that, it would have been far better for him. However, venturing into commentary on the Prophet Muhammad’s marriage and attempting to use it to attack the Qur’ān only exposed a profound level of ignorance on the subject. Trying to undermine Islam in order to elevate his traditional religion is not only misguided but a weak approach that can only resonate with those equally uninformed. The Prophet’s marriages have been thoroughly explained and contextualized by scholars for centuries, there is no confusion for those who seek understanding with sincerity. Muslims also do not perform Hajj to “lick a rock”; such caricatures reveal a shallow grasp of Islamic rites and history. Everyone is free to choose their path. But intellectual honesty demands that one speaks from knowledge, not from emotion or ignorance or the desire to promote one faith by disparaging another. May Allah guide us all to what is true and best. Āmīn.

I love your advocacy for peace and the way you explain things however, you still have a flaw which is not being truthful completely. For many years, Muslims have spoken ills of Ìsẹ̀se and everything traditional. Infact, the motive of muslims is to change every non-muslim to muslims and in doing this they go derogatory most of the time. If you now want to tell us what is right, you must first correct all the wrongs of the past, you must also apologise for those wrong doings and tell Muslims to desist from doing such. Then, you can tell onisese not to speak ill of Islam. That will make your truth whole!

ABACHA IS BETTER THAN DEMOCRACY ACTIVISTS - PETER AGULU-JESUS OBI MY FIERY REACTION: 1. Abacha and Ken Saro-Wiwa: A friendship that ended in a Noose. Abacha may have been a dictator to all, but to Ken he was first a friend. Ken laughed through his trial, confident Abacha would save him. But little did he know the game was lost before he knew he was playing. Ken was dealing with a merciless dictator he named friend. "Does Abacha know?" - His final desperate words before execution. The answer came not in words, but in a signature. Abacha's own hand had signed the death warrant. When soldiers showed it to him, Saro-Wiwa cried "This must be fake!" A man who laughed boldly in court wept in disbelief at ink on paper. The hanging was not enough. Abacha demanded erasure. After the executions, the bodies of Saro-Wiwa and the Ogoni Nine were loaded onto a tipper and driven to a place called Bolokiri - where soldiers poured acid over them. Their bodies melted instantly, all nine of them dumped together into a single pit. They were buried at night in unmarked graves, with heavy military presence preventing anyone from approaching the cemetery. For many years, the exact location of their remains was unknown to their families and the public. Abacha did not just want him dead - it wanted him unfindable, his legacy untraceable, his path untrackable. A voice that had echoed across the world in fight for justice, fairness and equity, reduced to liquid in a pit with no name. BUT WHAT WAS KEN SARO WIWA's CRIME? Since Royal Dutch Shell struck oil on Ogoni lands in 1958, an estimated $30 billion worth of oil had been extracted. The Ogoni - some 550,000 farmers and fishermen - received little in return except a ravaged environment. Farmland once fertile turned to contaminated fields. Uncontrolled oil spills dotted the landscape like puddles of ooze the size of football fields. Ken's crime was asking: why should the land that feeds the nation devour its own children? For demanding justice, fairness and equity for his people, Abacha arrested Ken, sentenced him to death by hanging, extinguish life from his body by the noose, and in death his body wasn't spared torture or given the dignity of final respects, his remains was dissolved in acid and his family left to carry the burden of a father lost for no just cause. Ken Saro-Wiwa - writer, griot, conscience of a people - a man who chose words over weapons and paid with his life - Peter looked at this sacrifice, still wet with the blood of martyrdom, and called it worthless. And if that were not enough sacrilege for one mouth to carry, he elevated Abacha - the butcher, the acid- pourer, the unmarked grave- digger - above every man and woman who ever raised a voice, risked a freedom, or lost a life for democracy, for a fair society, for a just Nigeria. How desperately wicked can a Man be? How demonically inspired can Peter be? Must he be President if he does not possess the brain to prosecute his cause to a desired end? Why desecrate the struggles and sacrifice of our heroes on the altar of political desperation? Peter - Hear this and let it echo through every corridor where your ambition prowls: For this sacrilege, you will never become President. Not Vice President. Your name, if not mercifully forgotten, shall be spoken only in disdain and ignominy. No evil of this magnitude must be promoted among us. No man who spits on the graves of martyrs must be handed the keys to the house they died to build. 2. ABACHA AND SHEHU YAR'ADUA Shall I Begin? Good Morning Severally. This is TDS Meter! TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLID METER! You see some of you are wasting money in your houses/offices you don’t even know. Well at the end of this write up you should know how much you have wasted. Some days/weeks ago a video is circulating online about testing Eva and some table water with a tester but is showing 120ppm some shows 90ppm and they claim the water is bad for drinking. Let’s educate ourselves The device they are using to test the water is called TDS Meter, the word TDS Total dissolved Solid this mean all the stuff dissolved in water that is not pure H2O things like minerals, salts, metals etc It doesn't directly count the solids. Instead, it sends a tiny electrical current between two probes and measures how well the water conducts electricity (conductivity). More dissolved ions = higher conductivity = higher TDS reading. The result shows up in ppm (parts per million) or sometimes mg/L. If you pour tap or Normal drinking water in a cup and put electric wire it will shock because of the minerals and other particles inside this what the meter does it will send tiny electric current then see how sensitive the water is. It will be showing something like: 0–50 ppm: Very pure (like distilled or RO water) 50–150 ppm: Good for most drinking water (many bottled waters sit here) 150–500 ppm: Normal tap water range in many places; still usually safe 500–1000: ppm Starts tasting "mineral-y" or salty; might want filtration 1000 ppm: Often not great for drinking long-term This means each number shows on the meter means one thing. If you are using TUBULAR Battery you will understand that we use distill water to maintain the battery if the water level is low. And some of you us wasting this distill water! You see that water coming out from your AC pipe yes, if you use TDS meter to measure it, most of it will read 005 ( best for maintaining battery water level!) 5 liters is 2,500 to 5,000 naira and you should calculate how much you waste.🤣 You see the Eva water showing 90ppm it is safe for drinking because it has mineral that benefit your body is inside it. The one reading 0.04 ppm is equals to distill water which has zero minerals which is not safe for drinking on a long run. You know if mineral in your body reduce to much there will be issue!

The most dangerous thing about the virus that causes Cervical Cancer (HPV) is that it doesn't show symptoms. You can have it for 10 years and feel 100% fine. You’ll feel healthy, strong, busy with work, and you won't even be sick. But it’s a trap… While you are feeling fine, that virus is quietly working, building and changing your cells. By the time you do feel a symptom ('small bleeding' after sex, ‘back pain')… That’s usually not the start of the problem, that’s the end. It *often* means it's too late. You were running from a 10-minute screening (because according to you 'it's embarrassing')... but now, you're running towards chemotherapy. You were running from a 10-minute test... but now you're running towards a fight for your life. This is one of the only cancers we can find AND STOP before it even starts. We screen because we don't have symptoms. The HPV vaccine can prevent it from ever starting at all. What questions do you have about cervical cancer? And what are the stories you’ve heard? Tell us in the comments @NiyelCampaigns

It would be wrong for Yoruba nationalists to fault Kemi for being loyal to the British system. She has embraced the British identity and she is obligated to uphold the core values of its people. This is quite in contrasts to a people trying to infiltrate our politics in Yorubaland for a conquest agenda. They do not embrace our identity. If Kemi claims she does not think in English…. She won’t last a season in English politics. Tiago is originally Portuguese. He has embraced the Yoruba identity and is proud of it. On a recent visit to Portugal… he walked on the streets and did a video saying how much he feels more at home in Yorubaland than Portugal. If he joins politics and seeks election on Yorubaland, the right thing to do is to give him all the support he needs if he qualifies for any position.

Are you an indigene of Lagos State? Here is a brief history of the past and present Obas of Lagos: The Lagos Dynasty Since 1600. ASHIPA (1600-1630) Ashipa was regarded as the founder of dynasty of Lagos. He was the son Oba of Benin. He was acting as the leader of the people of Lagos but not as the king. He serves as the intermediary between the Oba of Benin and the people of Lagos (eko), he spent 27 years as the leader of Eko and died in 1630 and his son Ado took over his responsibility. OBA ADO (1630-1669) Oba ado, the son of ashipa took over the leadership role played by his father in 1630 during his own reign, he was elevated to an Oba and was crowned as the king of Lagos by the Oba of Benin. Oba ado became the first Oba of Lagos. Oba ado had three children,2 males and 1 female. They include (Gabaro, Akinsemoyin, and Erelu Kuti).Oba ado ruled for 39years. He joined his ancestor in 1669 and his first son Gabaro succeeded him. OBA GABARO (1669-1704) Oba Gabaro was installed in 1669 after his father death. During his reign, he moved the government to the island in particular isale eko where the present iga Idungran is today. he was the first Oba to erect a building in the palace, and he also created the institution of chieftaincy and kingmakers. he had only one child during his lifetime called Eletu Kekere. Oba Gabaro died in 1904 and his brother Akinsemoyin succeeded him. OBA AKINSEMOYIN (1704-1749) Oba Akinsemoyin started in their own reign in 1704, it was during his reign that the Portuguese came to Lagos as slave dealers. It was in records that the palace “iga idungran” was built during this period with the assistance of the Portuguese. Oba Akinsemoyin never had a son but he had six female children, he reigned for 45 years and died in 1749. OBA ELETU-KEKERE (1749) Oba Eletu kekere succeeded Oba akinsemoyin(his uncle).Oba Eletu Kekere was the only son of Oba Gabaro, during his reign, he had no child and died within the year he was installed as the Oba. therefore ending the lineage of Oba gabaro. After his death, there was controversy on who to succeed to the throne, because Oba akinsemoyin had no son. Erelu kuti the sister of akinsemoyin is also a female and it is not possible for a female to succeed the throne. The only option was to choose the son of Erelu kuti to succeed the throne. Erelu kuti has two son’s (Ologun-kutere & sokun). The eldest son Ologun-kutere was chosen to succeed the throne. OBA OLOGUN-KUTERE(1749-1775) Oba Ologun Kutere ascended the throne in 1949 after the death of his cousin Eletu Kekere. Oba Ologun Kutere was a strong king, he won the respect of neighboring Oba by the way he handled a threatening rebellion against paying tributes. He had 6 children “Eshinlokun, Adele, Akitoye, Olusi, Akiolu, and Olukoya”.he joined his ancestors in 1775 and was succeeded by his son ADELE AJOSUN(his son) OBA ADELE AJOSUN(1775-1780&1834) In 1775, when Oba Adele Ajosun succeeded his father, Lagos entered a period where the Oba had to concern themselves with consolidating their position on the throne , his reign was rich with intrigues and counter-intrigues between him and his brother ESHILOKUN. Oba Adele Ajosun was an indulgent father who allowed his children to introduce “EGUNGUN” to the palace. This led to his dethronement and he was banished in 1780 but was reinstated in 1852 after his brothers(ESHILOKUN, IDEWU OJULARI had reigned. He died in 1834 OBA ESHILOKUN(1780-1819) Oba Eshilokun came to the throne in 1780 following the dethronement of Oba Adele ajosun, though his reign was uneventful, he successfully resisted the attempt by Adele to out him from the throne. He kept the throne till 1819 when he eventually joined his ancestors. He had 2children(Idewu Ojulari and Kosoko)

You tried. But the truth is there is no way you can make a complete list. These ones you mentioned are less than 0.01% of our notable women. For example, you started with Efusetan Aniwura, you forgot dozens of prominent Ibadan women that made Ibadan great: iyalode Subuola, the predecessor of Eunsetan, who was often compared to Queen Victoria of Britain in those days, or the great warrior, Ọmọṣá, the woman who was the reason why Ibadan was never attack/evaded/sacked/conquered by the enemies—one of the extremely few Yoruba cities with such till today, to mention just two. Within oyo state, you forgot that it was a female monarch, Oronmpoto, who introduced standard use of horses, that eventually enabled Oyo to become the greatest empire in west afrika at that time. Before the reign of Orompoto, try and find out what Oyo was facing from enemies. When I was doing research about Ekiti-Ijesa region, I came across innumerable stories of powerful/wealthy women in histories; thousands, perhaps. If you travel through Yorubaland, you’ll be amazed by the number of women that made great impact to each city and town. And the respective people remember many of these women. When I say our women are great, I know what I am saying! But we should also appreciate our men as well, for recognising the significance of “mothers” and for uniting with them to create some of world’s greatest environment for all to thrive.
