In the same 2 LGAs sir, the state government has constructed 4 secondary schools in Malumfashi (almost at 90% completion) and currently 3 in Kafur (at 43% progress). There are also 65 computers in Malumfashi, 5 KVA solar systems in 3 schools and smart boards. Similar items in Kafur. In the same 2 LGAs from January 2025 to date 8 schools are currently undergoing renovation of N235m each. The investment is worth N9 billion, the records are available to verify. This is only in education, excluding teacher training, provision of tablets for teachers and learning materials. School for the Deaf Malumfashi alone got special sticks for the students worth N150m to he distributed next week.

Check your fact again, the Katsina State government constructed a hostel and labs at the Nursing school in Malumfashi. The rehabilitation of schools and the construction of a clinic in Mantau, Malumfashi, are currently ongoing. For Kafur, Gov Radda completed the upgrade of Kafur PHC into a general hospital. Also in Kafur, the road from Kafur to Mahuta was completed by this administration.

@Miqdad_Jnr @dikko_radda Local governments like Malumfashi and Kafur are not outside Katsina. In the three years of Dikko’s administration, there hasn’t been even a single project worth one million in Malumfashi. Yet, because of arrogance, they now want to appear like champions. Just yesterday, a traditi

One fundamental thing we should all know and be fine with is, no one was contacted during creation. If you are a Muslim, God almighty would've decided and created you a Christian, same with a Christian, Allah would've ordained you to be a Muslim. This no one could've done anything about it. Let this sink in us deeply. This means religion shouldn't be a basis of discrimination, no one was contacted. If you're a Nigerian Muslim or Christian, God would've decided to create to you in China, India or elsewhere and there was nothing you could've done to reverse it. Religion is practiced with the best of character and attitude to drive someone to either convert or the least respect and see no harm on what one worships. At this very point, we need to see this, think, act, walk and normalize it. It is in our own interest to live and let live with maximum respect and understanding. Do you think this makes any sense? If no what is your take? If yes how do we amplify it?

@NigeriaStories Fact? One-sided 'mission'? I think at this point all good citizens must have read the handwriting very clear. It is well, we respect all religions, no judgement but yeah there is from the west. Good morning Nigeria

I had the privilege of leading the UBEC Management team on a courtesy visit to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, at the Government House. Our visit was primarily to express UBEC’s deep appreciation for the Governor’s gracious approval and allocation of a prime plot of land for the establishment of UBEC’s permanent State Office in Kano. This gesture represents more than a land donation, it is a powerful reaffirmation of our shared commitment to advancing quality basic education across the state. Under the renewed mandate of this administration, UBEC continues to strengthen collaboration with state governments to ensure that our interventions are impactful, sustainable, and strategically aligned with the needs of our learners. The Kano State Government’s support is a testament to the productive partnership we have built and the collective vision we share for education development. A permanent UBEC office in Kano will further enhance our capacity to coordinate programmes, monitor implementation, and deliver value-driven support to the state’s basic education ecosystem. We remain steadfast in working closely with the Kano State Government to translate this milestone into meaningful improvements in teaching, learning, and educational outcomes for every child.

The story of transformation in Katsina under the AGILE project is one that gives us renewed hope for Nigeria’s basic education system. Over 13,000 classrooms have been upgraded and nearly 9,000 WASH facilities constructed ensuring that children, especially girls, have safe and dignified learning environments. Beyond infrastructure, AGILE’s approach empowers students with digital literacy, life skills, and confidence to thrive in a fast-changing world. This aligns strongly with UBEC’s mission to ensure access, equity, and quality in education across Nigeria. When we invest in safe schools, inclusive learning spaces, and strong community participation, we are not only building classrooms, we are building futures. At UBEC, we remain committed to collaborating with all partners to replicate and scale these successes nationwide, ensuring that every child regardless of background can learn, grow, and succeed.
