Today we welcomed 'The Fearsome Giant' into St John Henry Newman. Children in Reception and KS1 enjoyed a puppet show which explored the theme of fear and anxiety and then followed this up with some class based learning. Thank you to The Conversation Stamford. @talktousStam

My Year 6 class have just finished High Rise Mystery by @sharnajackson and were totally obsessed with it. They’re all desperately queuing up to read her other books now. Not sure if it’s on AR or not, but I would thoroughly recommend it.

As part of a project with a primary school we’re looking to improve representation in their library in the areas of race, disability, neurodivergence and gender stereotypes. Any recommendations for books suitable for EYFS to year 6. Bonus points if they’re on Accelerated Reader.
